This song takes be back to Junior School in ''82 - Every Friday morning, a Barry Cooper coach would pick us up outside the school and take us to the swimming baths and the tannoy speakers in the locker room used to play Radio 1 and can remember this getting played as well as Rosanna by Toto, You Can Do Magic by America, It's Raining Again by Supertramp, Zoom by Fat Larry's Band and Just What I Always Wanted by Mari Wilson. Ahhhh, memories.
Must also add that Adrian is looking well for his age and still sings it like he did in '82. Altogether he released 10 UK singles from March 1979 to December 1983 (not counting a re-issue of 'Classic' released some time in 1989), yet only two of them were actual hits - 'Classic' which was a UK No 8 hit in January 1982 and it's follow-up 'Your Dream' which made a lowly No 61 in April 1982. His final original single was 'Hello Mum' which charted at an even more disappointing No 80 in December 1983 so not a hit as a single had to make at least No 75 to be regarded as a hit. Shame he is regarded as a one hit wonder and never had any other big hits as some of those other singles were pretty good, especially 'Corner Of Love' from May 1983 and the 'Hello Mum' single.

An amazing songwriter, singer and musician. Sweet Vendetta is my favorite record of all time.
He still sounds great in 2024 & this version is as good as the original from 82,
