This anime is based off of a simple concept of re-doing life to fix the issues which we faced before. In our lives things do not go the way we want it to, some may have bad outcomes but we cannot do anything regarding this as we cannot just load a checkpoint in life. Some people have regrets in past decision and many want to change it, and many may want to escape the present and hide from the future, so they want things to go their way. Here in this amv there was a scene were subaru shouted "what did I do to deserve this" and "why do you all leave me behind", to boil it down to a single point.. this shows emotions of hopelessness and escape which were strong ones to say at least. Many people resonate to this, so that may be the reason why he said that

I enjoy the fact that he wasn't an overpowered MC (for that I suggest you watch Mahouka Kouko no Retosei). Also misery builds character and makes the payoff for the suffering more memorable and meaningful. Episode 18 is a case in point. Also Dark Souls.

Well... I don't even know where to start, unfortunately I'm only seeing this wonder called Re:zero in Full 2023... More honestly... I've never been more addicted to a work than Re:zero seriously... I love it so much and She will always be in a Super Special place right here in My heart, I've already finished watching the 1st and 2nd seasons, The film memory snow I've already seen, and now all I have left is the other film that has... Well... I I've never cried so much watching an anime, Honestly, I cried twice.. 3, 4, 5 times more than any other I've watched, Now talking about the songs.. For example this "Stay Alive" The only thing I can talk... yeah, how wonderful... 1000/1000... Simply put, Re:zero's soundtracks are so beautiful and moving, impactful, depending on the moment... Whenever I stop to listen to this beauty of music, I feel like I want to Crying, and seeing this incredible work again, I get goosebumps just listening to it... I'm a very sensitive guy, I know that, so it's kind of like when the film I've yet to see ends, I must almost cry (I TOLD YOU I'M SENSITIVE! I'm literally Subaru Natsuki.. HAHSHS) Jokes aside, I know I still have the Light novel and the Web novel to read, But I love the Anime Adaptation, and I can't wait for them to adapt Arc 5 and 6.. I'll be eagerly waiting for this moment to arrive, and when it arrives.. I WILL SEE AND REVIEW MANY TIMES!!
After watching this and the sloth what if I wonder how Subaru can deal with all the shit he has gone though, (spoilers for the sloth what if) like how the f Subaru could have a children with Rem after being murder by her like 2 times (I understand kinda but imagine one day he being able to talk about return by death with her and being like "Yeah there was one time when u brutally murder me")
It's all about comfort. Subaru always hits rock bottom mentally because death is a traumatic thing, and he's not able to vent about it to anyone. At that moment in the show, he feels abandoned by those he's tried to protect. He feels betrayed by those around him. At that point, all you'd want is to escape and find some type of comfort. Rem is the only one who stays by his side during this ordeal. The only one who he can turn to. He doesn't want to die again so he proposes to leave with her so he can get away from it all. Rem who only wants to support him provides him with comfort. A means of an escape.
初めてリゼロ見た時、最初らへんスバル殺されまくって話進まないな〜って思ってたけど、スバルがラムとレムの為に崖から飛び降りたシーンでなんか見方が変わった。今思えばめっちゃいい作品だなって思える

あくまでリゼロみた俺の個人的な感想です。
スバルが良い奴すぎるやつでもなく、強いわけでもなく、ただただ人間的すぎてとても感情移入してしまう作品だった。仲間思い、他人思いなところ見ると結局は良い奴なんだけど……。何度も何度も失敗してその度に違う方法探して救えた時、救えなかった時……。それを兼ねてのあのレムのタイトル回収のシーン初めて見た時は人生で初めてアニメで泣いた。俺は原作の方は一切見てなくて、アニメしか観てないから、最終回のところで知識どまりだけども、アニメの最終回では上手くいって救うことが出来た。だからハッピーエンドなはずだけども、上手くいかなかったパターンも知ってて守れなかった人のことが頭にチラつく。もし、死に戻りっていうものがその世界そのものが戻るのならばまだしも、そうでなくていわゆる平行世界のパラレルワールドに飛ばされているのだとしたら、元の世界は救われずに大切な人も死んでそのままなのかなとか思っちゃったりもする。
切ない…、その言葉に尽きる。
しのらる 最後のパラレルワールドなどの考察もって2期見ると面白いと思うよ！
