Unlike you, I don't think their careers are truly in jeopardy. Drake is trump and Kendrick is CNN. As immense as these accusations are, it feels like fanning a flame to try and put it out. What would really put the flame out is depriving it of that oxygen, but it's already grown out of proportions, so to be honest I'm not sure where anything will go from here. If this is true, then I hope it affects Drake's career as much as possible, but we'll see.
My biggest hope for the outcome of this "beef" is that this is another case of the Story of Adidion, where it actually pushes drake to be a little less of a deadbeat father, and possibly acknowledge another child ???? Wild stuff, definitely can't classify as beef anymore, this is a fight, trying to topple eachother - and, at least from Kendrick's side, it's born out of true hatred for the other.
Interesting perspective but I don’t know how you make it past the allegations both of them are on the receiving end of. If they’re true that is. You say you hope it affects Drake’s career but what about the abusive allegations Kendrick is on the receiving end of? I don’t know how either of them let these linger without trying to deny them
If what Drake claims is true, then I hope Kendrick not only has changed, but will feel repercussions for it. And while I still don't think their careers are in jeopardy, I think for sure it'll leave a nasty mark on their legacies if proven. It hadn't really back when Pusha came after Drake, so hopefully it will ACTUALLY leave a nasty mark on them this time if allegations are true.@@NotRealMusicRyan
