Jay Khwaja Modern horror movies nowadays are mostly jumpscares, it is ridiculous how people think that jumpscares would make a movie horror. Jumpscares are just trying to make us jump because of a sudden appearance we don’t expect. Instead of delivering a unnerving storyline or creepy atmosphere to terrify the audiences, people just mostly use jumpscares.
Anyone who watch this as a kid (as I did) will remember it for the rest of his life...when I watched it I was around 7 and I slept in my grandparents big house (who appeared to be more like a castle to me) ; the following night, I couldn't sleep until 2 am, watching the puppets on the bed a very different way....
Oh I love that, it goes from kind of innocent to more ominous and creepy, lovely theme, Richard Band who composed it is my favourite horror movie music writer.

I was totally excited by Stuart Gordon with his career start of Re-Animator & From Beyond & Dolls. And their soundtracks are so terrific. When I discovered that the main Theme of Re-Animator was a cover from the main title of Psycho from one of the greatest composers Bernard Herrmann it lost somewhat of its uniqueness. It started my affection to Richard Band and I realised that the score "Mutant (Night Shadows)" from which I had already owned and loved the LP he also composed. Ever since I collected almost all he made. But this fabulous score to Dolls is still missing for a release. And now I know you wrote the score. Incredible! Can you do something about the release?
