Some info! Their score of 98.25 is actually the highest score in BOA (Bands Of America) History so far. This is the 4th time Broken Arrow has won Grand Nationals too. Broken Arrow & Hebron are some of the most exceptional bands in my opinion.
Your friends from blue Springs are here too your guys show is amazing and one of the people in our band is actually named Kevin so it would have been ironic if we did win but you all deserved to win
I was in the Pride of Broken Arrow from 1999-2002 and they were the best years ever! This program taught me so much and I have become a better person for it. Love every director
So I'm a senior in the color guard and this took so many hours and for the couples dance a lot to because we had to trust each and the hole group if one Missed up then we all do. I love this show I miss it so much if I can go back I will it was 4 year of my life in color guard and to bring Kevin home was cool 😎
I’m from rivercrest hs we made it to state for the first time in a while and I’m the flute solo and hearing the flute solo on this amazed me it was beautifully played
You should watch Blue Springs high school. Their show was entitled 212 and was fun to watch with an amazing solo. I know they went to grand nats but I don’t know exactly what place they got.
Broken Arrow has always been so awesome but especially this year. Honestly I’m not surprised they broke a record. You should react to the O’Fallon Township High School 2021 prelims performance at Grand Nats next :)
@@tjodytrue *cough* I personally agree that either Flomo or woodlands should’ve medaled but that’s just cause I loved their shows more. If the judges thought Carmel or Avon performed better then who am I to argue I’m just some teenager while they’re musical professionals
I’m a future Pride member and I saw the show live multiple times and it really was the best show I’ve ever seen or heard by the pride or anyone else. They couldn’t top it this year but hopefully they can next year when I’m in it.

I love hearing your reactions to marching bands! This is a really nice show. The attention to dynamics is outstanding. Personally, I don’t feel this is a record breaking show. I’ve seen them so more complex shows and they pulled them off successfully. I believe if Hebron had been there, the dynamics of the competition would have been different. I’m disappointed in BA’s colorguard. There is some phrasing that they just didn’t hit. A little messy, which is unusual for them. The complexity of the music did not challenge the students to the level that they are capable of doing. I wish them the best and look forward to seeing them next year.
although all moments cannot be perfect, I believe that their colorguard is phenomenal. The fact that their rifles all toss and catch and look pretty at the same time is astonishing. Hebron’s show was musically easy, along with their colorguard work, meaning that they would’ve not been a competition for BA if they attended nationals. Broken arrows music is actually very complex, if you were to look at the visual score. All in all, broken arrow still would’ve won even if Hebron would’ve attended, and broken arrow would’ve wrote “losers” on their forehead with their prop pens
@@user-uq7uc1hq7j You don’t sound like your an educated music adjudicator that has been in the activity for many years. I’ll enjoy watching your growth in this sport and wish you and BA all the best.
@@user-uq7uc1hq7j I apologize for assuming your depth of knowledge in the activity. It was your comment about ‘“losers” on their forehead with their prop pens’ that made me jump to that conclusion.
@Eddie Tucker At BA if the directors caught one of us doing an L on our forehead we’d be in serious trouble. I kid you not our director spent like a 30 minute speech about how we need to act and be the band everyone loves for being nice. Some bands were so rude to us after being nice just because we won, and what we did was smile and say they were amazing and yet they still flipped us off… All in all if our directors caught us putting L’s on our forehead they would’ve made us apologize and probably have a really serious talk about it. I’m sorry that L made you feel like BA is rude.
If you haven't been involved with BOA or before that MBA or even before that The St. Petersburg Classic, you would not have any reason to know about Broken Arrow. The emergence of Ronald Reagan, L.D. Bell, Broken Arrow, Flower Mound and others during the recent history of BOA and MBA before it, has allowed marching bands to take their "rightful place" as legitimate music programs around the country. We really have to thank bands like Rocky Mount and before that Sylva-Webster for being in the forefront of teaching great music and putting it on the field, in a drum Corps style, for all to see and judge.
I loved that show when I got to see it in person at boa on STL. Also got to talk to a couple people from the band and most of you are so kind. Thank you for being humble about everything and all around great. I’m from Sullivan high school
Have you considered swapping your camera for the video your watching. It's actually quite hard to see what you're looking at. Just a thought. Not that we don't like gazing at your pretty face
Do we really need to see you on 3/4 of the screenand the band stuck into the right bottom quarter. You compliment their uniforms, yet each band member is nothing more than a spect on the screen.
Broken Arrow killed it! I’m so happy for them, they were so humble too!
