If it’s like osrs untradables will not be able tradable through group Ironman. They are untradables after all so I wouldn’t count on being able to trade them
@urekmazino6800 I think the skilling boss needs to drop items that will benefit every other skill indefinitely. By doing that the boss will continue to be high gp/hr. Yes, this is still bossing, but it atleast gives killers and option to gain xp and lots of gp while doing so. It's up to jagex tho
Well the former funded the latter, it’s business, I know people get caught up in the game aspect but at the end of the day to them it’s a business not for fun like us the consumer.
I mean, from the other perspective, everyone feeling like rs3 is dead and in maintenance mode could very well be a catalyst for all of the positive change we’re finally seeing. I don’t think anyone is mad about new content lol, I’m super excited but before the roadmap, I was also feeling super pessimistic given the last year lol a tiny bit of communication would quell a lot of the negativity people have been feeling towards jagex
It’s really weird how people like… NEED constant content and communication. Half a year of slow updates and people begin to lose their mind. Be patient you weirdos. This happens on a cycle at this point. They pump out a ton of awesome content and then it takes a bit of time for new stuff to be worked in and made. It may be frustrating but they always pull through. If you can’t find things to occupy your time in a game like RuneScape you genuinely need to just go find something better to do. It’s insane how much content there is and it’s more than enough to keep you occupied during slower periods. There are also countless other games and things to distract yourself. You people act like addicts sometimes lol. And this is coming from someone who’s played the game for 20 years and has an Ironman with 120 arch, 200m thieving, and more no-life achievements.
@@TheSCPStudio I hear that. I’m comped, I love the game and l love pvming with the homies but honestly, it’s been a super slow couple of years of content post Zamorak. The game has rightly felt like it’s taken a backseat to other priorities like OSRS when we don’t see updates at all. People wouldn’t feel so apathetic if rs3 devs communicated with us more. The survey and potential polls are a huge step in the right direction. I love this roadmap but we’re also almost half way into 2024 before getting it lol. I understand they really needed to adjust course after the hero pass failure (which honestly, in its final form, I didn’t mind hero pass). But it comes off as tone deaf and like the devs don’t understand their playerbase when they believe that is the type of content we really want. The distrust and unease in the rs community is one the devs have created themselves and they’ll need to earn it back. For example, I’d be totally happy for QoL and game jam style updates over bigger massive updates but when we go months with only silence, we don’t know what’s happening or what they plan on doing and when the only announcements they make are treasure hunter promos, it continues to foster ill will. The other problem is this game can’t retain people anymore when there aren’t updates coming into the game. I agree, there’s a metric ton of stuff to do in game and even as a comped player, going for 5.8 or trim, there’s still way more I could do. But a lot of that content doesn’t appeal to the majority of players which is why it is so abstract or dead in the first place. So when we go months without updates and all of our friends quit playing, it isolates current players and makes them feel alone and eliminates part of the enjoyment. I’m fortunate to be apart of a great new clan and we’re having a ton of fun together but the other reality is that this clan was born in the deaths of several others that just don’t have anyone logging in anymore. So when people complain and long for new content and wish people would communicate, it’s not always trolls trying to hurt jagex feelings but also a good bunch of people that genuinely care for this game they’ve played for 20 years and don’t want to see it wither away. You know it’s bad when even the RS Guy is making videos complaining about the quality of content coming into the game. It’s been an objectively bad several years.
One of the big issues with openly communicating is that unless it is the quality of this current roadpass, Jagex ALWAYS gets the short end of the stick. Every time Jagex comes out with an MTX promo, everyone cries about how all they care about is MTX. Every time they give out something for free, we cry about no update because of a free cosmetic that no one cares about? Every time a new rare comes out, Jagex is evil because it is too hard to get, unless it's on treasure hunter then it's too easy to get (which is actually code for A - I didn't get one for free or B - I got one for free but it was only a free 100m). Rasial is arguably the best designed boss in terms of Jagex setting out to do something and executing on it flawlessly, and we cry that it's a DPS dummy that drops BiS gear. Vorkath was clearly rushed (they talked about he was only supposed to have 3 legs but that didn't happen, voice lines are clearly missing/not lining up with the timings that make sense), but it is otherwise a pretty cool fight if they tweak like two things about it. But everyone cries that it's not good enough. The reality is, if Jagex releases an update that has ANY flaws, they get blasted by the vocal minority in the community. If that's the case, why should they say anything? Why make it harder on your community managers and devs by inviting more negativity? I totally understand why they were essentially Radio silent for a few months and the reality is, the community deserves it. So many people who talk about RuneScape hate the game, and it sucks for everyone who is silently enjoying it. Player retention IS an issue, and that's something that needs to be worked on, but that's not an issue of new content. That is Jagex making a concentrated effort to fix the new player experience (which people are going to cry about since those changes would necessarily not impact already enfranchised players). I think the game is going in a good direction and nothing is perfect, but it's obvious that the Devs really care about the game. It wouldn't have survived 25+ years and STILL be a top 10 MMO if the devs had nothing due to backlash on Hero Pass.
@@raphtheboygenius yeah, I agree with the general whininess of the vocal minority. There are definitely items worth speaking out about and then people who will never be pleased one way or the other and Reddit is definitely an echo chamber of our most toxic players regurgitating the same meritless complaints they’ve had for years. It can be difficult to weed through the valid concerns that are rooted so deep under the noise of our rowdiest players but even in the face of that adversity, osrs tends to take a W in the communication field and rs3 just compartmentalizes everything and throws an mtx update at us as if gifts are their love language - except we’re expected to purchase the gift ourselves. Whether it’s rs3, osrs, wow, or halo, really any massive video game community can understand what it feels like to feel as though the people at the helm of their game, their childhood passion, don’t care. Sure we bare part of the blame in being so negative but we’ve also been stanning them for decades and enabling the same lack of proper updates that we’re experiencing today. It doesn’t necessarily feel right to invalidate or gaslight the players that have stood by this whole time despite massive issues that stem much further than just a lack of content.
They better do better next year and not just have 6 months of content and the rest just MTX most of the month with just patch notes primarily like this year.

If melee gets t99 gear so will everything else have to scale up.
I’m really disappointed in the masterwork sword. It’s gonna be another switch for melee and my keybind setup has no more room…
Maybe! It's hard to know for sure. It's entirely possible it gets rid of a switch since it's almost certain t99 damage.
