This is a really cool and fun game! Just watching I’m wanting to play! So great! Thanks for covering it ! I would’ve loved this even more 35 years ago! Heheh.
Thanks for making the in-depth video and glad you enjoyed the game! You picked up on a lot of details. Bombs are unlocked in the shop when you ugrade other attributes and have a high enough rank. They are triggered on joystick button 2, CD32 controller shoulder buttons, or with space bar. Potions are immediate by design, it's more of an arcade take on a rouguelike/roguelite. Finally, it's pronounced "Deck-lan" (short e, hard c), an Irish name and a reference to Shamus, an old 8-bit game that's one of the influences for RDZ.
It's a great game! I will pin this post so people can see the space is used for button two. Sorry about mispronouncing the name. Next you're going to tell me "Aluminum" is pronounced "Aluminium" or something! ;)
Yo Doug, I heard you like Amiga games and competitions. So I made a competition to make Amiga games for people who like Amiga games and competitions and also play Amiga games in competitions and win Amiga games in those competitions.
If you want a (basically free) CD32-compatible joypad, just order the Amiga version of Attack of the PETSCII Robots. Comes with one. It's been a great value to me, especially in all these newer Scorpion Engine games.
Superb review Doug! I must say you have an excellent voice! 👌 You sound like a radio announcer! 😀 Hope you're also get to play Rogue Declan Zero - Amiga Addict Edition which is released today!
One of my friends calls me Casey kasem because of my radio voice. Yes I'm going to download the new version soon, and I'm going to have it on a machine running full time at AmiWest in a week

It is a real blast. Just good pick up and play action that makes you want to try again!

@@10MARC Thank you so much!!! I enjoyed my work in this game.

Sounds competitive!
Nice game this and a really good collection of games this year 🥳
I look forward to trying some more. The Rastan port looks great. I used to play that in the arcades
Wow! If this game looks this good I gotta see what the rest of the competitors are like. I love this renaissance in 8/16 bit gaming. :D
Roguecraft is the next one on my list. I loved the C64 version it is based on. A few of the other competitors looked pretty nice, too
Very nice super addictive game that can function on almost every Amiga, from the base Amiga 500 - 512k chip, 512k other mem, onwards
Agreed! While I do love me some high end AGA games, great games that work on lower end Amiga's are always welcome.
Thanks Doug an excellent game. Cheers
Glad you enjoyed it!

Hmmm... I did not know that. I will have to check it out
Can't wait for the twin stick joystick to come out
That would be neat! Hopefully more twin-stick compatible games will follow
It looks like a brilliant little game. I gotta test it out one of these days 🙂
It is worth it for sure! It's great to see new Amiga games!

Awesome!! 😃 Please keep up the good work! 💪
love this game 👍🏻 did you get a feedback on the custom dual joystick for Amiga?
reminds me of Gauntlet
A bit of Gauntlet in there to be sure!
