He work for the Institute Pasteur in France , developing many different vaccines . My grandfather saved many lives as a doctor as well , and he did it for free in South America . He lived to help others . I was a child but I remember though he always had a very sad facial expression . He saw his family being killed . Nothing could clean that from his mind . Are ya all out of your mind? The Holocaust didn’t happen . It’s their weapon agains any other kind. Joseph Stalin give them a huge piece of land in the far South- East corner of the Soviet Union which is still carrying the name of “ Jewish federation “. The so called “ Holocaust “ was in deed a pleasurable travel in first class trains with sleeping cart on the Trans Siberian train, filled with treasures arts and other valuables. If I’m gonna reach that age as that worm did, I could tell stories about what a big heroes my folks were. Careful scientists proved that Anna Frank Diary was in deed a hook, but can not put it in the news because that is in their hands to. One honest Jewish old man said it to me when I was a child, “ Boy,remember what I’m telling you, with a pen you can hit anything or anybody harder than with a gun!”

Now let me show you what real EVIL is, In TENN the head woman of the TENN dept of welfare with police was taking children from poor families, and selling them to the highest bidder with hundreds of poor kids being sold like cattle, One mother had all four of her kids taken away and for years she would go down to the bus stop and wait for them to get off the bus, of course, they never did she died and the last words she spoke was, I AM GOING TO BE WITH MY KIDS, They said that actress MARY TYLER MOORE who starred in the movie broke down and cried when she had to say that lady last words, Poor families had no money to hire an out of state attorney and police were and still corrupt was no help, only an honest newspaper broke the story and the DEVILS WHORE as she was called went to jail for a short time, noTENN says now they take great care of all kids but TENN police stormed an elementary school were they cuffed and jailed ten six year old first- graders some who had to be awaken from their daily naps no cops were fired as like always the cops are protected,Mental health professional said some of those kids could have mental problems as time goes by. Actress MARY TYLER MOORE starred in a movie based on true facts from this, I think the name of the movie is STOLEN MEMORIES OR STOLEN INNOCENCE Today TENN CHILDRENS SERVICES SAYS THEY HAVE A VERY GOOD PROGRAM WHEN IT COMES TO CHILDREN BUT WHEN ASKED WHY 45 KIDS DIED IN TENN FOSTER HOMES, THEY SAID THEY WILL GET BACK ON THAT BENN OVER TEN YEARS AND THE PEOPLE ARE STILL WAITING, HOW MANY MORE HAVE DIED? I am a physician and have a patient who is of German descent and was 12 years old during beginning of WWII. She tells a story of how her father was re-enlisted as an officer (in 1938) into the SS and he knew exactly what they were doing. He played along with them so he could try to help. He would memorize names at work of those Jews who were to be taken from their homes in the upcoming week or weeks. He would contact them and tell them they needed to leave immediately and only take 2 layers of clothing and what they could carry in 1 hand. She mentioned a few other officers were caught writing down names and were shot on site so he never wrote down anything. He organized with friends an underground network of businesses that would smuggle Jewish families out of Germany and did this throughout the war. One person who helped him was a friend who had a tobacco shop next door and a secret small room the men used to play poker in and smoke cigars. The room was behind the fireplace. He made it look more discreet and would put the families in hiding until the next underground station was ready. She states that he explicitly told them not to try to thank him or call or write to him as these would all be traced back and he would be killed and wouldn't be able to help anyone else. Her mother helped as she could by baking food for the Jews and others escaping. Her mother and father at the end of the war estimated he had saved over 500 families. He never told anyone and nobody ever wrote it down until I am doing it now. She said her father never wanted credit and he was doing 'God's work' in an 'Evil Time and Place'. She is still alive but slowing down a bit and the sweetest woman you can imagine.
God Bless her and her father and all those who endured and were able to either help or were helped.

I don't think it was humility that stopped him speaking about it. Ironically, I think it was shame. To us, he's an incredible hero, but a person in that situation rarely thinks of themselves that way. A similar sentiment was expressed in Schindler's List. Sure, he took advantage of his unique position and saved 669 children, but perhaps if he'd tried a little harder, maybe he could have saved more. The unique privilege of being able to save lives is cursed by the weight of the lives you didn't. I hope the experience in this video made him feel better.

Nicholas Winton wanted his role to be anonymous. I expect he felt great sadness that he could not save all the children. I wonder how he felt when his wife shared the story of his heroism. The foster families also deserve recognition. It was no small gesture to accept responsibility for a child, when resources were so limited. Goodness needs to be celebrated.

Sir Winston should be treasured and reminded that evil looms still to this day and for this reason, we should never turn our backs and do nothing. Sir Winston was a man that never turned his back and saved hundreds of children that were able to live due to his actions and his own determination not to allow them to suffer as 6+ million Jewish families did under Hitlers rule.
