The sound has a bit of an eco, you can surround your mic with soft textiles, some folks will put their mic or phone inside a towel or blanket (obviously without blocking/touching the actual mic) you could put sound proofing foam or carpet on the walls but that might be a but much, you could hang tapestries or just place a lot of pillows and such around, the mores soft natural fibres the less eco.
