We gotta quit killing our selves with the penalties. Definitely the offense needs to score a lot more points then what we are producing at this time. The conservative football needs to stop. Open that playbook up and let’s kick some ass. You gotta have a well balanced playbook. Passing game opens up the running game and the running game opens up the passing game.
I think our problems as fans is we associate high scoring with good football but it’s obvious Tomlin literally takes it game by game and decides how he’s gonna beat this team this week, does he get it wrong sometimes sure it happened 3 games in a row last year but the Steelers beat the Ravens 2x last year with only 17 points and the same ravens that made it to the AFCC game. People think coaching is an Art when really it’s a Science.
I agree with you somewhat. The problem with that way of coaching is when you face a tram that can score, we don't have a real chance. Just like the Buffalo game last year.
They absolutely have to stop Dobbs- that line is opening up massive holes & he's hitting em hard & fast - they can't let that happen - he's quik through the hole but not top end fast he can be caught & has on some break aways- but we don't want him getting a head of steam downhill - if they don't stop the run - we don't win - He's avging over 9 freaking yards a carry !?!? 😮 Can't happen - that's the key to the game right there !!!!
Bro I hate to say it - but Queens missing too many tackles & so far the return on the investment is NOT good - HOLCUM was playing betta - SPILLANES playing better for the raiders !?!? Hopefully his missed tackles gets cleaned up !!!!Broderick jones should be fine of they leave him be screwing up his mind & focus !!!! Hopefully roman wilson can help underneath & find the open seems- he maybe a welcome addition- the ex rams wr too - I like him !? Let's go steelers - gunna be a good one - but if they lose the leash on fields & find a wr playing well - we win w that D - they got to lock up DOBBS or we are toast !!!!
Jones is an LT. He is already better than Dan Moore. When Jones played last year, the offense improved dramatically. We still sucked because of Moore, Cole and Daniels. But we were way better. Troy is a better RT? Great. Keep playing him. But I know that nothing ruins the career of a potential mauler than making him learn multiple positions. Those who preach position flexibility for linemen DO NOT WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS. Also, stop saying Moore had a good game when he was just a ragdoll that only made a couple mistakes. That isn't good tackle play. Get pushed around all day, be the least effective tackle in the league via PFF, but only get one holding call and idiots praise you. Hell, we gave chuks a 30Mil contract before anyone realized he sucked and we couldn't win with him at tackle.
I'm not sure who you are watching. Dan Moore is playing well. You mentioned PFF. Go check how he graded this past week if that's your go-to for how someone plays. Either way, he is playing well. It's that simple. Will it last, I don't know. But as of this moment, he is playing well.
