don't get me wrong not comparing them, I love the puppets trippy-punk-folk ness and the bands they came up with.. red cross, butthole surfers, minute men, soul asylum, queens of the stone age, stp..
+Twin Rivers Home Video They're ones I've just collected from online or in magazines and places like that. Not entirely sure where they all came from. I have a lot on my computer that I feel like I haven't really seen around much.
plateau and like of fire and I guess sam were the closest things they played too "hits" that's kinda cool. I wish they had done better and stayed together and all that.. but that's a lot of bands..
I'm assuming it's because they were obviously promoting their No Joke album at this time. 9 of the tracks played here are from it. You do realize they're still together right? They've released 5 studio albums since this one, one as recently as 2013, and are still touring together.
Yes I'm aware they are still together. My surprise is due to the fact that Backwater was their highest charting single and instead they played some of their less popular songs.
Covering 'Buckeroo' by Buck Owens is super cool
All the "no joke" stuff live b4 the band split up too!!
Taste of the Sun 😍😍😍
I was the guy that yelled BIGFOOT at 14:34... The Big Star fans were being particularly rude.
This is so great. Ty. Excellent sound quality.
No problemo.
Awesome. Thanks 4 the upload
Wow , Taste of the Sun is an amazing song I 've never heard this =) thx for the upload
awesome I guess this is right around cris (BASS player right? always get confused cuz curt and cris and kurt and chris fron nirnava) left the band

Yeah this was the last tour before Curt (guitarist) put the band on hiatus because Cris (bassist) had a drug problem. Cris came back after 10 years.
Chris must have been 87% heroin at this stage. This must have been close to being their last show.
Big Star band Ive not heard in decades
where'd the photos come from

Yeah I'm surprised they didn't play Backwater considering it was their "hit".

They are better than ever live now.
You just cannot judge them in the mainstream way.
