A new "one take" video!
As you know I don't overdub or correct this kind of vid.
I simply publish the take straight like it was recorded, with all the imperfections and mistakes.
I used my own preset for AmpliTube 5.
Guitar used is my Ferrari Red Special.

I was excited for this video! I was wondering if you were going to play the flamenco part well I think it's best you didn't attempt since Brian couldn't do it either, they had Steve Howe do that part for them. Stay safe!

How long does it take you to learn something like this? Where do you go to learn it?. A book? Website? Listening to the original track?
Maybe a day to memorize the parts and 2-3 days to make it sounds good.
Usually I go by ear or watching Brian.

@@MarcoGDiMarco a video showing your approach to learning and preparing a new song would be very interesting, although of course people are all different, and other guitarists might prefer different methods. Thank you for this gem. Haunting but powerful, as it was meant to be.

sound like Brian may, looks like Brian May's guitar, has all the mannerisms, scrapes, swooshes, etc.... cool..... now how about your own individuality?
Sometimes tributing a great artist to this degree of accuracy requires more effort and dedication than creating mediocre "individual" material
@@_fabio1978 absolutely! But, there is no application for this Brian May clone anywhere except wherever Brian May sound is needed, in a Queen tribute band. I for example love the "cannon rock" on a Brian May guitar -- that combines Brian May mannerisms with other stuff.
