I was a clarinet player throughout my youth. School band, orchestra, symphonic, marching band, theatre band. With great dismay, I learned that I had to have 8 of my teeth removed (including wisdom teeth) and get braces on my teeth. Not just regular braces, but a bulky palate expander along with the rubber bands and headgear. It was a nightmare of raw flesh inside my mouth until it finally toughened up. I’m 60 now and I can STILL feel the imprint of those braces on the insides of my mouth!!😅

It’s a C trumpet. It plays all fingerings in concert pitch (C) instead of trumpet pitch (Bb)
