They fucked up Mortal Kombat with MK3 and UMK3.. MK3 was too Silly, too much silliness.. The characters were silly, moves were silly, why face Shao Kahn again?? The FATALITIES were just plain Goofy, Silly and were God awful.. they completely ruined it when they added “RUN” and actual button “COMBOS”… they took a game series that took Skill, patience and actual strategy and ruined it with Run and Combos.. at that point any 11 year old can play and run at you spam buttons for combos… yeah MK3 ruined it for me.. I lost all interest in MORTAL KOMBAT after MK2. don’t get me started on that abomination MORTAL KOMBAT 4.. What the fuck were they thinking with MK4? it was laughably bad. Arcades were sending MK4 cabinets back because nobody was playing them and they weren’t making money…. they improved with MK9 and above, but still I have lost all interest because of MK3
The multiple stab fatality deserved a more suitable sound effect. Maybe they though it was already a brutal enough fatality and chose a less "shocking" sound effect?
Unfortunately compared to some of the other videos in this list, this one has spammed techniques throughout each round (ie the flying kick, followed by Mileena's roll attack virtually every time). The Kintaro fight is the worst, nothing but jump kicks. As for the Shao Kahn one, oh dear! That was the main weakness of old MK games, which meant two players was far better.
