Just wish they decided to go with the old adjustment system. Really like the 4 pin, with the correct tool feels really precise. Smaller footprint in your kit too than a wrench...
Brian, Great great tutorial. When you say competition level regulator compared to the REPR reg, what is the advantages aside from longevity as you mentioned? / Ritchy T in Ohio
Is 130 bar really the factory setting for .30 cal ? BTW, you really got a lot of shots out of it while degassing- and that with the small, OEM tank ! Thanks again for the great, informative vids !!
Good day! Perhaps you could answer a burning question of mine. Opening up bleed screw on my buttstock does not degas the gun properly. I have the 350cc bottle installed, not the default cylinder. It seems the air is stuck right before the regulator and unable to pass through the plenum. I know the cyclinder has its own bleedscrew, however the bottle does not. Do you know of a safe and alternative way to bleed the remaining air out? Ive heard that its possible to bleed air from the gauge section, but until I know for sure.. I don't dare to try it out. There is about 90 bar remaining in the tank and I don't want parts getting launched at me at high pressure, haha. Until I find a way to fully degas it, I won't be able to open it up and take a look inside...
@@edgunwestLLC Understandable. Turns out It was a locked regulator. Luckily Fransisco was nice enough to send me a brand new buttstock. The newer version with the added bleedscrew behind the guage no less. EdGun Spain provides amazing service.
Hello, my raptor regulator is leaking into the phlenom, making every shot use the total tank power! I cannot find anything online about this. I noticed the o ring on the outer part of the regulator is loose could that be the problem?
No, Brian. I think the claim is less than 1% variation; not 1 bar. I have tested these regulators and have seen 1% variation, not 1 bar. The cricket regulator has proven many times to be super to the huma,.
Huma states that the max output of the Raptor regulator is 175? Not a big deal to me because as you know i'm shooting for much lower setting but, i did notice you set it to 213? As always thanks for the video very informative. Just one more reason to drive back down to the shop.
Bulky unit, not flush, no significant gain in performance imho and you must use a wrench which will scratch the surroundings eventually . . . is see no added value to be honest. I like the standard one better.
Thanks for the feedback. Where this regulator shines is at the extreme ranges of the pressure spectrum. The OEM regulator had reliability issues at or above 200 bar, and many users want the ability to run their leshiy this hot. Other issues have come from users who often tinker with their power settings; this system works without using a small ball on a seal. I asked Huma to make this regulator with these two pain points in mind. We are working on a wrench for the raptor regulator that will prevent scratching of the air tube
Great vid cheers 👍 I ordered 1 of these from you, can you confirm if there is supposed to be an Oring on the base of the cup insert as mine has no Oring and leaks, if so what size is correct, Many thanks
Wow that is news to me. Been using Huma modification accessories for most of my guns, and before buying, I always write to them with various ? and they always answer me within 1-2 days. Furthermore, once I lost a little special made screw for degassing bottles (my own fault) and they were nice to send me a new one without any costs. That is what a call a good dealership, so I am sorry to read that you have had this experience with them.

Thanks for the great vid! The gun actually sounded tighter and sterner at 130.
Thanks for the video made the installation a piece of cake.
Can't wait to try it out!
Hmm, at 2:14...it appears you only have 3½ belville washers in that stack. Any particular reason?
I ask because mine has a 4 pair stack.
Thanks for your video's.

Would be helpful to know. The non flush fit is and wrench vs spanner for adjustment are initial concerns.
@@HR3EEE I agree, there must be a hell of an advantage to the Huma reg because I only see downsides.

Contact your dealer. That is not the sort of instruction I give in public for safety reasons

Hi. What cleaning spray did you use? Is it lube oil or usually pressure air?
Can Air

@@LoojmemhavI’d say you’re around 160bar
What’s the fps at 130 bar and the size of the openings in the valve?
And then the video ends? You didn't show how to bleed off pressure.

Huma customer service is utter shit will never use again
Out of all the companies in this industry to say that about... lol. You have to be a level 10 douche if Huub told you to piss off.
Strange, I contacted them regularly in the Netherlands and they respond within 24 hours.
