I find the scene where Carrie walks alone amazing!There is sth in this scene that I find quite attractive. As if the atmosphere is more clear and quite ,music is beautiful and I don't know ...I just want to watch again and again.
Watching that scene was so familiar. My husband passed when he and I were in our early 50's. One summer after about six month of being alone I was walking and saw a couple going to dinner hand in hand and wondered, will I ever have that again. Well I did, three and half years later i was lucky enough to find someone and have been married 15 years. Sometimes you do have a second chapter
Miranda being grey is ok she was always the ruddy fuddy daddy old flop of the group but Carrie would NEVER allow herself to be grey and looking old and outta style

I think Carrie is portrayed in a way which makes her look older than she is and unkempt - the hair for a woman her age? It's not at all flattering. Miranda at least has a good haircut, the color looks good too. Charlotte still wears classic clothes. Both Carrie and Charlotte look like they have lip fillers and botox, not flattering, not a great job, especially on Carrie. People age, some beautifully, if you have the money get the best doctors you can.

Yes ..a grey short or curly hair style would look great for older women but SJP has a long face which can be tricky with short hair. I just like the freedom of letting yourself go naturally grey ..it still looks nice and clean. I see older women going with shorter hairstyles for health reasons too.
