Heh... I also got Factor for a while. It's good. I've gotten a few delivery services. Veestro, Mosaic, Daily harvest They are all actually good, but yeah... Cook Unity I've been getting for a number of months now and definitely think it is the best. First, the variety is amazing and they are actually able to pull it off and get fresh food to me. Plus, the spicy foods are actually kind of spicy.
I gotta give them credit for quality... but then again if you compare it with the bento boxes they make in Japan or Korea for the same prices, I think they could do a lot better. Cookunity is definitely on the right path, but there still needs to someone who can offer the high standards and quality that other places in other countries have. Hopefully us americans will experience that level of craftsmanship someday too.
Either the reviews are artificially inflated, or more likely, the business has not planned for it's growth. Because the customer service at this business is the very worst. Late shipments and deliveries leading to spoiled and useless meals. Continuous refusal to rectify their own mistakes on orders and billing. Hiding behind their own jacked policy to not provide refunds. They only offer credit toward your next delivery. Do not use this service to plan your meals. You will waste your own time.
My first shipment never came and was 2 days late, they refunded me my money though, i immediately canceled my subscription, it pissed me off because they waisted my time. I think there main issue is the whole concept of trying to keep the meals fresh and never frozen.. through the delivery process... its stupid, and wasteful. They should just freeze the meals and box them with extra dry ice/freeze packets in a Styrofoam package. That way if shipping is delayed, the meals can still be delivered without spoiling. If they aren't going to do it this way, then they need to have there own independent delivery service like Scwhan's.
@@thefastlane1 LOL apparently not a joke. Microwaving FISH at work should be a fireable offense. The smell of microwaved fish is horrible and permeates every corner of an office.

I also prefer cook unity over factor too! I tried them after Factor

I hope microwaving fish at work was a joke because I would make your life a living hell for doing so, pro chef created or not
