iirc they've always been lipsynced, but they have the choice to actually sing if they want to

i also just started watching this videos but apparently from what i understood, some dancers replace actual eurovision oarticipants and make a rehearsal of their coreography. and this is filmed to help the artists see how the show will look like when it’s filmed? like for them to understand the camera angles and all, some also decide to change things about their stagings i guess.

If I'm not wrong, the stand in rehearsal is actually a recording of the performance made by the TV responsible of that year following the instructions of every TV. It is not about replacing someone, is just a way to see how everything actually looks like

First of all she wasn’t doing the same as sila and she had much more freedom because she didn’t have to sing silia had to focus on both at the same time so she couldn’t give 100% on the dancing
