E36 4.8 FINALLY OUT!!!

Finally got the old girl out, everything is functioning properly, no leaks, I’m pumped!!! EVERYTHING works, but this good old 3.15 diff behind the T56 might not cut it. Going to break her in then in the future get some good wheels, suspension, body, a different rear end ratio, and get some good skids going!

Depends… you can do it cheap cheap but cheap and reliable don’t go hand in hand. I want to say I was $7000 total into it including buying the trans and some other upgrades and not just dropping a stock motor and trans with a half smoked clutch in. That was a full engine rebuild, cam kit, used t56, clutch, shifter and bushing, motor and trans mounts, HPTuners, full exhaust, oil pump and cooler and lines, radiator, other odds and ends.

LR4 4.8L “LS” from a Chevy truck. Cars got a 6.2 LS motor in it now lol
