The advice that Kabiyesi should forgive the Imam? What is the basis for forgiveness if the issue is within the Ayilara family on which Kabiyesi is not a contender? I don't understand the sentiment of religion and coloured opinion here

It is very funny that people keep mixing things up. It is an issue within the Ayilara family. Kabiyesi has nothing to do with this issue. Why will you bribe if something belongs to you as a bonafide member of the family?
Imam taliat is already on the throne and believed me to be honest, Imam possessed pre-requisite knowledge to pilot the affairs of the office both academic and Islamic knowledge.

Oba Ghandi has come with many good things , he should be given opportunity to set record for Yoruba race which Ogbomosho is also part of before the colonial invation on our Cultural Heritage
This man has not been totally truthful. The N2m he paid was not into Ayilara family account but into the man who they sued to court. And the money was to reimburse the man for the fees he has spent in preparation for the court case. 2ndly why has he cunningly brought the matter on the kabiyesi, asking the kabiyesi to forgive the imam. The Ayilara family, Soun in council and the Islam in council has openly admitted that the matter has been even before Kabiyesi came on the throne. Kabiyesi has said that the solution is within the Ayilara family. Please don't drag Kabiyesi into this mess.
The man talking has not taking any side. Imam is highly qualified than every other candidates. Of course interview was done before he was appointed. And most didn't accept destiny that its Allah that put people into position. And this is Islamic affairs, let Muslims solve our problems by ourselves not to interfere by non Muslims as we Muslims don't do that

If the issue is truly within the AYILARA family why has your kabiyesi allowed it to fester, this imam has some relationship with the AYILARA family whether OMO ERU OR OMO ALE OR OMO OKO, they have known him before, did somethings with him and even accepted him earlier, if the kabiyesi is sincere and honourable, he should call the AYILARA family, persuade them, ask the imam to beg them over whatever mistake he has made and the issue will be settled once and for all.
I simply perceive that both the kabiyesi and some other people in the town are just using some elements in the AYILARA family to get back at the Imam.

He pretty much admitted thatthe Imam is not from the Ayilara family. He acknowledged that the Imam is a non-indigene, but due to corruption, they want the whole issue swept under the carpet. This is really sad. Pastor as Soun, Hausa as Imam . . . in the heart of Yorubaland?
