As long as the drum tilts the 45 it’s not needed. Since they’re using the moeller technique for better sound and power.

I’m a sophomore in highschool and have no band experience... including playing a band instrument. I want to become a drum major but I want to start off with playing the snare drum. Can I still join band at my school even though I’ve never played an instrument before?

Adrian :/ Yes, regardless of prior experience you can still join and can be taught an instrument, I was taught snare my sophomore year and by the next year (This year) I was drum captain

Robert Lipscomb Jr They still use Silverfox MS sticks,the company Silverfox went out of business a while back,so I’m guessing JSU bought a large supply of their sticks.

@@amirtutt5369 Not sure, but they don’t use Silverfox anymore, they mainly use the Promark BYOS marching sticks, the Vic Firth Corpsmaster Snare MS2 sticks, and the Corpsmaster Snare MS5 sticks now
