  • Hello everyone :)
In this video, I will try out different waiting times for pouring the flower petals. We will observe the differences in the flower blooms produced. In this flower bloom making process, I also do temperature measurements, and I found SOMETHING INTERESTING about the temperature of the resin I used.
Through this video I suggest you do this experiment using the resin you already have. Instead of trying to find the exact same resin I have, try doing this experiment using the resin you already have. That way we will be better able to recognize the character of our resin, especially from the waiting time and temperature.
If you have any ideas or input regarding 3D resin flower bloom, please feel free to comment. If possible, I will give them a try.
    The materials I use :
    -. Epoxy resin
-. White and Grey paste pigment
    -. White mica powder pigment
    -. Pale gold nugget

Thank you for doing this experiment, I’ve always wondered how the temperature effects the blooms just like in your video ❤️

Great video. Thanks for sharing. These are so pretty. ❤❤❤. This is great to know because lots of people says temperature should be around 35 Celsius. Can you do a video on letting resin sit in the cup longer before decanting to see the results?

Yes, of course. I plan to make the second version of the time experiment video. I will try to extend the waiting time before pouring the flower petals

@@artbynayanika thank you. I’ve heard room temp and humidity can impact the time along with the brand of resin we are using. There sure are a lot of variables. 😁

@@artbynayanika absolutely, that’s right. It looks so easy on the videos. And, everything stays so neat and clean, too. I must be a real mess as mine is neither easy or clean. LOLOL

Hello Nayanika, i wonder if you can use another pigment other than white to make a bloom? Or does it have to be white with another color added to the white? If i wanted to make red petals could i just use red pigment paste? I'm very new to this so forgive my ignorance.😊

In my experience, we can use pigment paste in any color besides white, as long as the pigment paste has a thick texture. And if you notice, I always use white pigment paste because currently, the other pigment colors don't have the same thick texture as white. However, from my observation, white always makes the petals more distinct.
