Let’s Replay Beneath a Steel Sky #16: Music to No-One’s Ears

The picture of what’s going on with Union City and LINC is becoming clearer and what we see isn’t good. The only way we have a chance of stopping things from getting worse is finding LINC and the virus that Hobart sought to infect the system with. Anita suggested that we could start looking for LINC in the old subway tunnels and we know a way to get pretty close to them, provided we can get past the security system guarding a door.
What lies beyond that door however is a mystery and a dangerous one at that. The ways to perish in this game have been few and far between up until now, but soon we’ll be at the point of no return. Fortunately, we can’t get to this point without all the items we need to complete the game. Unfortunately, there are still plenty of ways to mess up if you’re not careful or fast enough in your reactions. The enemies of Foster are powerful and many, so we’re going to need to cautious and reckless at the same time if we’re going to stand a chance of putting a stop to LINC’s plans once and for all, whatever they are exactly. That they’re bad is enough motivation for us to put an end to them, as it’s likely the only chance we’ll have to return home and be free once more.
