IND Subway: Riding the Brand-New Kawasaki R211A from Lefferts Blvd to Jay Street-Metrotech (2023)

It's been a while, hasn't it?
Back in October 2023, I finally had the opportunity to ride these brand-new subway cars for New York City. These brand new R211A production cars (4060-4049) entered service on the (A) line during the inaugural run on March 10, 2023. The new cars feature wider doors, security cameras, accessibility improvements, improved digital signage, color-coded LED door indicators, and better interior lighting. Here I will be riding these new cars from Ozone Park-Lefferts Blvd in Queens to Jay Street-Metrotech in Brooklyn.
