I don’t think the original demo is better. It doesn’t have a memory point. The official one dance moves show very clear when is the chorus , which part are they going to point out. I feel the official one fits the song well.
They adopt like... 1% of the actual choreography... this is most probably not the “original” choreo. I believe they combine several choreography demo and pick the best parts of each.
They usually go through a lot of changes during the process of creating choreo. Original is good but probably is way too sexy at times. Also there was a lot of level changes from the floor to stand which can make it hard to sing and dance.

@@rtc7788 Not entirely sometimes other choreographers help and they take bits and pieces from multiple choreographers. It really just depends on the company. I've seen some behind the scenes footage of choreographers and a bunch of different demo choreos. Some choose a whole choreo from start to finish, others take parts from a few choreographers and then kind of Frankenstein the dance together. The example I can give you is the Better Together choreo for Se7en. Keone worked on that choreo, but if you look at the sh!t kings/ shaun evaristo version the chorus is taken that choreo.
the original looks more cohesive however they might of changed it due to vocal stability purposes, there is no way you can sing in the kind of pitch this song is while doing that choreography. still think they could’ve incorporated more of the original instead of changing almost all of it.
The ‘original’ was really good in my opinion but there were a lot of moves that need to be hit on point lol plus how can they sing and dance hardcore like that. Also it’s too sexual for a new girl group trying to keep the standard/concept of girl crush. They wouldn’t even be able to perform that choreo live in music banks and stuff. So the OFFICIAL suits the song way better

Official has more key points in dance choreo that are easier to remember for those who watch it (audience). The original was a bit too complex and I think only pro dancers will easily remember it at first glance. Doing the original is like screaming itzy is soooo good, but the majority of audience might not be able to relate to it. KPOP Songs get more popular when people actually enjoy dancing them too.

I like the official version much better. Almost completely changed from the “original” (demo). Even the signature moves were changed. The official matched with the original at only one segment. IMO, the “original” looked generic and “safe”. The “official” version matches well with the song and their concept.

I feel currently in the kpop industry with so many artists coming into the industry its important for groups not to come up with complex choreographies , rather memorable ones. The original does seem rather complex but not a single dance step stuck out to me as different or unique or as a 'point move' and seemed quite generic to be honest. The official has less complex moves but is notably sharper and crisper and allows the synchronization of the girls dancing to be highlighted which i feel is what attracted fans to their stage performances. On first listen i wasn't even very fond of the song but i kept coming back to performance videos because the official choreography was just so pleasing to the eyes to watch. Also the choreography seems to be of a different style compared to what kpop keeps showing us routinely in girl groups. If you focus on the official they didn't really try to highlight their S-line which is a very basic technique used especially while choreographing girl crush dances which you can note being done in the original. Which is what i feel makes the official more refreshing.

So a few days ago I was doing this "guess the song by its dance" game thingie, and when the paper holder showed Dalla Dalla I automatically danced the ORIGINAL choreography and everyone was confused. I was like "why do they need so long to guess it's so easy" and then I realized where I went wrong and I was like OHHHH 😭 Why I got attached to the original choreography more than the official one

I feel currently in the kpop industry with so many artists coming into the industry its important for groups not to come up with complex choreographies , rather memorable ones.
The original does seem rather complex but not a single dance step stuck out to me as different or unique or as a 'point move' and seemed quite generic to be honest.
The official has less complex moves but is notably sharper and crisper and allows the synchronization of the girls dancing to be highlighted which i feel is what attracted fans to their stage performances.
On first listen i wasn't even very fond of the song but i kept coming back to performance videos because the official choreography was just so pleasing to the eyes to watch. Also the choreography seems to be of a different style compared to what kpop keeps showing us routinely in girl groups. If you focus on the official they didn't really try to highlight their S-line which is a very basic technique used especially while choreographing girl crush dances which you can note being done in the original. Which is what i feel makes the official more refreshing.
Yasss. I wasn't fond of the song at first too but when I watched the choreo, I was amazed and they really slayed which is why I kept watching their choreo and the song grew on me

Honestly the Original is so good. But it seems that there's no time for them to breath because they are singing at the same time. It looks like the original choreo is major in dancing. If it is dance contest the original wins. But they need to be more considerate to thsir idols And i think the official is more like their age. Its so. Much refreshing and give that Youth vibe than the original 💕
I don't understand why people call the left the "original". It's just a demo that was basically rejected, they took like 1 part and rejected the rest. The right is Brian Friedmans choreography, that was actually accepted.
Both just have similar choreography on 1:29-1:36.

i love transition & formation from the original.. for dance break i love both original & official.. for ending pose i love the original (that formation).. except the hand.. they can replace that hand gesture to the 'crown' from official.. overall i love the official..
I prefer official as it focus on them as a group where as the original has a consistent of only having one at the front and four at the back which isn’t as pretty as it gives a lot of solo vibes. Formation is better in official

So a few days ago I was doing this "guess the song by its dance" game thingie, and when the paper holder showed Dalla Dalla I automatically danced the ORIGINAL choreography and everyone was confused. I was like "why do they need so long to guess it's so easy" and then I realized where I went wrong and I was like OHHHH 😭 Why I got attached to the original choreography more than the official one
The official one suits the song more and it’s iconic.... Ppl can easily guess what song it is by looking at the moves.
the chorus part is better at the official one and it makes the song more catchy. but the dance break at 2:23 fits much better on the original 😍😍
