It is the best feeling in the world knowing this many people care for you and are willing to stop everything they are doing to come help you.
We have a hops farm, just a little one and when harvest time comes, the yard is full of cars and people coming to help. It's a very warming feeling.
I live in a rural tiny town with lots of hop fields nearby.

@@minnamae25 Oh, I don’t know. I kind of prefer it after they are gone, at least you can see across the fields! When they’re all grown up you can’t see anything. They are a pretty plant, though. My husband loves the smell when they are harvesting.
@@cynthiafisher9907 It is a yummy smell. I just don't care for all the naked polls sticking up out of the ground.
Right now the hops yard is at his dad's camp. He has mentioned putting one up on our land and I said absolutely not, i do NOT want to look at those spindly polls poking up 20 ft in the air. This is just a hobby side job for him to bring in a little extra income. If he wants a bigger yard with more of an income, he can make his current one bigger. LOL
@@minnamae25 Is there a processing facility near where the field is? The area I live in has so many hops growing(and more all the time) that there are big processing facilities. My husband and I went to one a few years ago, it was interesting to see all the hops being dried.

Your steadfast patience and support of your children is a gift impossible to know of it's limits. Your children's children's children are the gift you give the world. The foundations placed within your children will flow through the generations, and that is the thank you you offer.
My grandad used to say, 'Lee, you can count the seeds in an apple ( as he looked at my four kids) but you cannot count the apples in the seed' - he's right, the bounty that is before us through our children, their children, and their children's children is unknown, however we're raising future leaders of their communities.

You are so fortunate to be able to have a green house and garden in your neighborhood with an association! I could never do anything like that! Some associations literally breathe down your neck for doing the littlest things! Lucky girl! Crazy! Good for you!!!

I do hope she checked with her HOA about having the GH in the front yard or having one at all would be a shame to have to take it down if it’s not allowed.

Aw Bri I was in tears, seeing all those lovely generous people I follow and your stunned happiness! Yes when one is in a humble place, it is not easy to recieve generocity. My Pastor told me once, not to take away the joy of people who want to help me and give to me and I never forgot that, even though it is still hard for me, knowing I cannot repay them. Just think of how much joy it was just giving those extra potatoes away, then graciously recieve dear Bri, you are so deserving in getting all this love and generocity

Many years back, my family needed help. I had the same reaction and told my pastor that we would not be able to repay the help. She said to us that this was not needed. And then she said something I never forgot and live by it to this day. "You need help right now. That is okay and there will come the time where you will be able to pay it forward and then you will." And we did and we do. This is how the world goes on.

To give is a blessing. To receive is often hard, but your attitude is spot on. Givers receive a blessing that fills their hearts. My hardest lesson was to be able to receive such gifts graciously knowing we can’t repay, knowing we are not expected to. It’s love for one another.
