Good game! I think they were expecting you to helo rush them hence the large investment in AA. I personally always think about that option if I see myself facing 4th. Planning to create a separate 4th deck for helo rushing now.
Hi Hippie, long time Vietnamese fan of yours, just wanna add that we Vietnamese love Americans, the only nationality we hate are French, cause they are the one who exploited and benefit from our country. Also I would also point out that the Americans intervene in Vietnam was wrong in the first place cause the struggle was never about communism, it was about nationalism and independence. After the 1954 Geneva Convention, the country was split into two different system of government. Instead of sending troops and guns, if they have bolster and legitimize the Southern Government, thing might have been different, but we all know how that goes. Also Southern Vietnamese rarely use Ho Chi Minh City, we still called it Sai Gon. ( there is still quite some beef between South and North Vietnamese ). Cheers
South Vietnamese couldn't fight, that's why US had to intervene directly. When they moved out in 1973 they left tons and tons of equipment to the south Vietnamese army and it collapsed in like a month
@@tedarcher9120 i agree, however there is much more nuances than that. You have to remember Asia in the 60s and 70s are not urbanize and centralized yet. Majority of the population at least in the South is consist of farmers who couldn’t careless who was in control and just want the war to end. Also Socialist ideals would appeal more to the mass ( in good faith not crapping on socialism ). Even when the US pull out, the South still manage to resist the 1972 Spring Offensive. The end really start when the US stop sending munitions after 1973. Individual combat unit fought bravely in the end, but they literally ran out of artillery shell like the Ukrainians. I’m not taking any sides but just wanna give a more nuances perspective, rather than the picture that the US are entirely unwelcome, or the South was a puppet state which is not true.
@@wheatfield. real, though i do appreciate the beautiful building and roadways,.. they leave behind. I think what make colonialism much worse for African countries is that it is purely exploitative, while most colonial colony in Asia did receive education, infrastructure, and other perks, regardless if it is in the vision of improving the efficiency of the exploitation.
If the US had supported Vietnam's independence from day one instead of sucking up to the Fr*nch, Vietnam most likely wouldn't have turned communist. It's a shame the disease of Domino Theory was so prevalent in American politics after the Korean War. As an American, it hurts to think that we shunned a nation striving so hard to achieve independence. A struggle the US knows all too well from our own history.

America lost the overarch of Vietnam, we won engagements majority of the time for sure. But support at home waned, so we pulled out and it was all for naught. The north persevered.
Brother wake up, Hippie snapped out of his hissy fit and is playing something else then 82nd AB.

The best way to use helicopters in 4th is to bring the AA ones at the start then, at about 30 minutes, bring all the rest to take 1 zone
And here I thought he wouldn't yap about 82nd for one video.
You lasted almost as long as I do in my dreams
xD

Imagine if the U.S. supported Vietnam's freedom from French colonialism 😞

4th got shafted when they removed the Su-22, the new Mig-23 has less ECM and drops from high alt so they rarely hit anything
They have shit ton of bombs and are immune to stingers
I agree, the SU22s were better
Watch out for the trees, the trees are talking
lol
Beam is literally WARNO's strongest soldier
lol
Americans generally agree it was a loss
Yeah I was just chatting rubbish
Mig-23 bomber is also very good, it flies super high, around double the altitude of Tornado
But you can just move
@@hippiehippiehippiehippie infantry in buildings won't have time to move
I, for one, love seeing Hippie win.
