A full movie of the whole Captain Hook set @ Boom Festival 2022.
At the Boom of 2022 the organizers asked me to perform the closing set of the Alchemy Circle (which turned out to be the official final 4*4 set of the whole festival). I was truly humbled and excited by the request. I worked so hard on my music towards the show, planning everything to be synced with the transition of the day into the night, giving my absolute love and respect to this sacred special time of the festival. I’ve started DJing after the great set Dekel played and everyone was in the right vibe. For me the whole experience was pure bliss. The music, ppl, vibe, sound, stage, weather and the love, so much love was present in the Alchemy during those hours that I felt my heart was about to explode.
During the show my friends came on stage and everyone was celebrating together as a community without any ego or masks (literally). All of us were there having a connection, being one consciousness celebrating its existence. It was the happiest time of my life right after my first son being born and my wedding day. When the official set time was about to end, Artur (the Boom boss) came towards me and asked if I’d like to continue and play, I just remember giving him a big kiss on the cheek and I continued Djing. The atmosphere was electrifying during this time and it was the spiritual peak of 2022 for me. I thank from the center of my heart the Boom family for showing so much love, trust and devotion in their life project- THE BOOM FESTIVAL. Thank you for believing in me as a human being and a musician. And last but not least: To all the Boomers who've been a part of this journey and acted like one big organism on that dance floor- you guys rock so hard it's hard not to rock! I love you all, thank you!

I remember approaching from the outside of the tent in the last of the sunset and the lights from the alchemy circle and that structure just looking completely fucking crazy. A really electric atmosphere and just such a spectacle. I remember stopping and just being awestruck by the amount of small fortuitous events that culminated in that music in that structure in that place with so many people there to appreciate it. It still seems crazy.

He was the last DJ to perform at Alchemy Circle on the day of the festival... the energy of the ON FIRE 🔥 dance floor was felt when dancing or looking into the eyes of the person next to him.
It was time to enjoy it hard, forget about problems and think how good it was to there... happy... alive... after a pandemic that made many people no longer present in our lives...
The sun was setting, the sound was getting better and the atmosphere was becoming more and more unique... words are not enough... just feel it!

I was at the closing of the main stage until the end and when it was over, I knew exactly where to go. In the whole festival I had never gone so fast from one stage to the other hahaha. What a closing... these moments are priceless, I will remember them for the rest of my life. Captain Hook is in my top 3 without any doubt, together with Astrix (that's why I was absorbed by the closing of the main stage, lucky that here I can listen to this session from the beginning).

I had the pleasure to presence his set live in Fusion Festival 2022. He was closing the psy stage. I was on shrooms with my friends and DAMN that was an UNFORGETTABLE experience. The crowd, the energy and the sounds were something I have never experienced before. The nasty basslines and trippy sounds... Fuck. It was beyond crazy.
People weren't wearing normal clothes, everyone seemed to be appropriately dressed to fit that tribal psytrance stage vibe. Amazing colors and details everywhere. Most people were not dancing in one spot, they were moving and running around... It looked like a big choreography. Everyone doing completely different dance moves, but somehow in sync. People started to seem like creatures out of a fantasy film to me (elves, werewolves, fairy's, trolls, etc).
I'll never forget one dude who had a stuffed Sloth toy attached to the top of a long wooden stick. He was violently shaking this stick making the Sloth fly around it. Was fucking unbelievable.
All to the sounds of Captain Hook. Since then his music has a special place in my heart.
