  • Guangdong Qinxin Technology Co., Ltd has 15 years of experience on the manufacture of commercial induction cookers.
    We have done a test to compare the cost of 5000 w induction cooker and gas stove. More details are as bellow:
    1. The video is to heat 3.48 kg water from 18.5 degree to 100 degree. Before heating, the total weight of the gas is 10.56kg; After the test, the total weight of the gas is 10.44kg. Induction cooker and gas stove boil water at the same time, and they took 4 minutes and 53 seconds in total. (The actual power of this tabletop induction stove is 4700 w.)
    2. The cost of gas stove is RMB 0.96, and the cost of induction cooker is RMB 0.35. In contrast, the induction cooker can save 63% of the cost.
    From the video, you can know some benefits of Lestov induction cookers. We are committed to improving your kitchen with advanced induction heating technology and good induction solutions.

    That's actually quite remarkable. The gas bottle weight is a very useful metric too - 5KW on for 4 minutes and 45 seconds uses 1.43 megajoules of electricity, and burning 0.12Kg propane or butane releases nearly 6 megajoules of heat. So the induction cooker is literally 4x more efficient than burning hydrocarbon fuel, and it suggests a kitchen using these cooktops instead of gas would heat up about 4x slower too! And there's nothing preventing the power from going much, MUCH higher than this even with a redesigned coil and electronics. This is clearly the future.

      The thing i hate about induction is you can't do fine control. It's usually huge increments

    • @austinwinn4548
      @austinwinn4548 6 місяців тому

      @@pusico6555 Seems like that can be said for gas to. It takes a good control valve and still some knowledge of it's response, right? Some of the inductions have 20+ settings. But going from like 500 to 5000 on increments of 20 is still 225W jumps, so you do have a point. A good control valve would be somewhat infinite.

    And how does the price of the commercial induction burner compare to that gas burner and propane tank? Also tell me about the Wok Hei that you are able to achieve with the induction burner .

      Taking into account the basic data of different fuels and cooking systems, the price of available heat and the comparative cost of cooking are estimated.
      If you are interested in induction cookers and want to know more energy power consumption data, we can share data from customers in India and data from customers in South Africa for your reference.
      You can leave your contact information or leave a message directly on our website (www.qxcooker.com/), we will answer your questions in time.

    The water is not boiling in the very centre of the wok in the induction stove. The heating pattern is a donut shape. This defeats a great benefit over flat-bottom woks - to have the water/oil/food pool in the middle.

      It is. It's a large body of water so the middle boils first, then the rest of the water.

    As of today, this still cannot replace gas stove to create wok hei. However, this system is great with solar system to heat up stock for several hours. And for most home, this system is more than capable of cooking great family meals. It's definitely safer with no gas leakage or fire. Just have to ensure safe installation is properly done.

      Agreed. My uncle lives off the grid in South Dakota after he retired and switched over to induction. It's been great for what he does and with his solar panels the costs to run his induction cooktops are almost negligible. Unfortunately you might have to upgrade your panel if you want a full induction range with higher power or a portable one that is higher than 1800w in the U.S., but that wasn't that much of an issue for my uncle because he did it when he got a Tesla.
      The two issues when it comes to induction wok cooking is that you need to get a separate commercial induction cooktop specifically made for a wok (don't get the NuWave one because that is only 1500W and it doesn't get super hot) which tends to be expensive and you can't create the wok hei like you said. Maybe you can, but my uncle and I haven't figured out a way whenever I visit his home during the summer. He usually uses his backup propane burner if he wants to cook with a wok and want the wok hei flavors.

    did you see the induction cooker only high heat in the middle part. but gas is all area. I dont think that induction cooker can replace the gas cooker. Cooking the most important is temperature and temperature should be average at most parts. but that is not in the cooker. I would not consider this cooker. Cooking vs boiling water are two different thing.

    5000 watts? Yes I've seen that 1800 watts is some kind of standard for stovetop induction? Why is this? I've seen it written that a device is only allowed to draw 1800 watts? A four burner stove goes from 1800 watts on 1 burner, and then would be distributed to 450 watts on each burner if you use all four. What is this about, is that actually correct? Because that would be no good.. having someone throwing peanuts at me because I had to turn on a burner

    • @rui1863
      @rui1863 2 роки тому

      1800 watts equates to 15 amps which is a standard wall outlet. Newer code for kitchen outlets today is 20 amp circuits for a max of 2400 watts. Not sure what the standard are for electric stoves; but my house is wired with 240 volt/40 amp circuit to the stove for a total of 9600 watts. Hope that helps.

      We have a limit at ~3500W at 240 VAC, that's 16 Amp fuses. Then kitchenstowe often 3*16A 400 VAC, around 11 500W. I am just waiting for a professional/catering grade induction cooktop at 3500W → 16 Amps 240 VAC...

    • @purpleblueunicorn

      @@johanneslaxell6641 What do you meant that you have a limit? You can install a 240V 100A breaker to give you legal 62.5A and 15kW in US and Canada. Or am I missing something?

    • @johanneslaxell6641
      @johanneslaxell6641 Рік тому

      @@purpleblueunicorn 16A 240VAC is the limit on the outlets for "smaller" applications in the house. Larger items (heatpump, large waterheaters, kitchenstove and big tools/machines) are on 380 VAC 16A or larger. My "main breaker" is 3*25A because I have an old smallish house. Newer houses often have more. I would say that two things differ: we put the plug any way we want into the socket and we have thinner cables, or so it seems. My 160 bar powerwasher works on a 16A breaker and the cable is 3*2,5mm² cable.
