My father learned Pankration back in the 60's from a Greek guy named Thomas Vassos from Northern Grease and my father stated teaching me at the age of 9 years but Pankration never died out in Northern Grease it just got over shadowed by Martial arts like Jujitsu and Karate in the 1920's and became unpopular until now ware it's becoming very popular now with MMA and self-defense Instructors adding it to their martial arts

Παραπλήσιο με ΜΜΑ είναι, αλλά έχει περισσότερες τεχνικές από το ΜΜΑ και να φανταστείς τότε ήταν κιόλας θανατηφόρο σε μάχες σώμα με σώμα, εκτός από τους Ολυμπιακούς αγώνες.
