The Warning are a rock band from Monterrey, Mexico. Three sisters Daniela 24 years old guitar lead vocals, Paulina 22 years old drums and backup vocals and will sing lead while playing drums and Alejandra 19 bassist and backup singer.
So TW and B-M met at a US festival in 2022 and said they should collaborate. They got that opportunity this year. They went to Japan and played three shows, one with Band-Maid. TW traveled to Japan two weeks early to write/compose/record with B-M and record a MV. They then played it together at their one concert together. In an interview on the PRS channel, Kanami and Dany said that more collaborations are in the future. Kanami wants B-M to come to Mexico and and Dany wants the collab to be in Spanish. Dany and Kanami play similar PRS guitars in the same color.

Typically, Band-Maid sings in Japanese. The Warning, although Mexican, sing most of their songs in English. Both of these bands are fantastic live. They have both been around for about 10 years--although The Warning sisters are around 10 years younger. The bassist is still a teenager. In it, the girls talk about their first encounter with PRS and how they came to love it, and they also mention the friendship between the two bands. The girls met at Aftershock Fest in the U.S. and over the next two years developed a friendship with each other. This music video is not a battle, nor is it a comparison of the superiority of the two bands. It was a joyous performance by both bands, who were finally able to perform together in Japan.
I'm not a huge fan of the Warning but I would say they are a great rock band. I love Band-Maid because they have more quirk in their sound, which is, of course, in my opinion.

You would appreciate this song a lot more if you were familiar with these two bands. Also, they're not dueling. They are playing their part in the song. These two bands have a huge amount of respect for each other. They met at a festival and discussed getting together to collaborate. The Warning went to Japan, and they worked on this song. I went to the joint concert in Tokyo, it was awesome. Imp I rtant! There was no dueling. They were celebrating each other's talent. At the end of this song, which ended the shiw, it was emotional witnessing the love and respect they have for each other. This song does not exemplify the sound of either band. You really should not have reacted to this until you've heard 10 songs from each band. And, you talked over the music way too much.

You would appreciate this song a lot more if you were familiar with these two bands. Also, they're not dueling. They are playing their part in the song.
These two bands have a huge amount of respect for each other. They met at a festival and discussed getting together to collaborate. The Warning went to Japan, and they worked on this song. I went to the joint concert in Tokyo, it was awesome. Imp I rtant! There was no dueling. They were celebrating each other's talent. At the end of this song, which ended the shiw, it was emotional witnessing the love and respect they have for each other. This song does not exemplify the sound of either band. You really should not have reacted to this until you've heard 10 songs from each band. And, you talked over the music way too much.

Daniela (Dany): Lead Vocals, Guitar - 24 years old as of today
Paulina (Pau - pronounced POW): Drums, backing vocals and sometimes lead (while playing drums) - 22 years old as of today

All are classically trained pianists and are the sweetest, and silliest, girls you'll ever learn about, and are probably most well-documented band on the planet - go like & subscribe to their UA-cam channel, and you'll see how much content is there - and there are many other The Warning related channels with additional content.
They decided to become rock stars because of the game 'Rock Band' which their parents gave them when Dany was about 8, Pau 6, and Ale was still to small to play, at 3 years old so she'd dance and clap while her two big sisters played. Dany picked guitar, Pau picked drums and they stuck with them. Their Dad saw how amazing Pau was with the drums and the next week he bought her a full-size kit and put her into lessons at the age of 6. When Ale got big enough (about 7) she decided she wanted to play the bass. They now have some of their own songs featured in Rock Band 4.

Metallica saw the video, spurring Kirk Hammett to say, "The drummer kicks maximum ass!" (again, Pau was 12 years old at the time and already played it as good a Lars).
They were since invited by Metallica to do a complete remake of Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara, for the 30th Anniversary of the Black Album, 'The Blacklist Album'. The only rule was 'Don't change the lyrics'. They rearranged, recorded and mastered the new version in just over a week, working remotely with Alessia in Canada, and The Warning in Mexico due to the pandemic. It is the first song on the album.

They stopped doing covers around 2015 when they produced their first original EP 'Escape The Mind', and only write original music. have 2 EPs and 4 albums. Their first EP and first two albums were crowd-funded as an indie band - MANY of the people commenting here were contributors. One of the albums is considered a masterpiece of work, called 'Queen of the Murder Scene' - a concept album which tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness, and we can say the story does not end well for her. That was released in 2018. Dany was 18, Pau - 16, Ale - 13. The girls posted VLOGS explaining their creative process and the songs.
They signed with Lava Records (Republic) in 2020, and have since produced one EP and two albums with the latest, 'Keep Me Fed' being released on June 28, 2024,
They toured with Band-Maid earlier this year when they did the 'Show Them' collaboration together in Japan.
They've opened for 3 Days Grace, Foo Fighters, Halestorm, Muse, Guns & Roses, and have played multiple festivals.
They have about 30 shows planned through the rest of 2024, including a headline US Tour, supporting Halestorm in Canada (and maybe some headlines there as well?)
Their superpower is LIVE. The concert from 2022 at Teatro Metropolitan is considered their 'gold standard' concert. Every song is amazing and the mix comes directly out of the equipment so the sound is spot-on with very little crowd noise.

Why do people need to make comments like this? It's not a competition. 😆Band-Maid does Band-Maid things and The Warning does The Warning things. Both are impressive.
