Thank you! This helped me so much. I was stressing because today is Friday and I have a test on Monday. My teacher is kinda confusing when he explains things. Thank you!! This definitely helped me study!
Such a wonderful lecture.... I have a question though what if we have multiple bags and we pick balls from each bag one after the other. Lets say without replacement..... How do we solve such a problem?
The idea of teaching by practical examples is long time abandoned by the lecturers. Completely ignoring the fact that some people learn by doing things as well as they learn visually. Thanks for the video, it is awesome!!

Thank you so very much! Looks like online school teacher can't even explain this, nor NO video during assignments!!! Grandmother, retired RN of Homeschooled student...8th grade!!
I have a doubt that in 2 conditions, With Replacement and Without Replacement. In what condition Should we Use the formula P(x) = nCx · px (1 − p)n−x and in what condition should we just make use of combination in finding probability?
thanks this was very helpful and the way my tutor was explaining it was kinda difficult and complicated to understand but you made me better understand it
Thank you for the clip! However, I think the reality of the "without replacement option" may be a little (or much more?) complex than shown here. In your example, you choose the right color every time since you can see the marbles. If you don't see the color, there is a risk that you pick a blue or green marble the first time and by not putting it back, your numerator for either of these colors changes, which changes the probability of picking one up next significantly. In other words, on your pick, you took a blue out, the probability of it being picked as a second will now be 4/14, which is less than 5/14. Do you know of a way to actually take into account the probability of prior events into the current event happening? Thanks!
Probability of picking 3 marbles with (1 red, 1 green and 1 blue) without replacement will be 6 times of what you calculated. We can end up selecting blue, read and green in any order (RGB, RBG, BGR, BRG, GRB, RBR) 6C1 * 5C1 * 4C1 / 15C3 =(6*5*4/15*14*13)*3*2
Teacher made it complicated in class, this helped me a lot
Glad it was helpful.
Well appreciated
Can we use this without formula like is it suitable in exam to write without replacement and with replacement formula?
Real
the visual marbles rlly helped with the understanding of replacement and no replacement- thousands of yt vids and this was the best. thanks.

Hello. Great explanation. Question: If you have RBRB marbles w/o replacement? How would you do that? Thanks.
funny how every teacher at school cant do this but a youtuber can do this easier and explain it so much better
I wasn’t sure if I should be changing the numerator with the denominator and you made it make so much sense! Thank you! Aced my quiz. 😭🙏🏽

Nice 👍👍👍

How would you do it if you wanted to draw one red and one blue, but you draw two marbles at the same time once?

it seems you have been ignored
@@jibrilmustapha942 yeah also I don’t get his question
@@jibrilmustapha942 But actually he is right about the problem. Without replacement is the definition of multivariate hypergeometric distribution.

What about in the “either or” case without replacement? Will this rule still apply or will the possibilities be equal like in the “and” case?
Probability of picking 3 marbles with (1 red, 1 green and 1 blue) without replacement will be 6 times of what you calculated. We can end up selecting blue, read and green in any order (RGB, RBG, BGR, BRG, GRB, RBR)
6C1 * 5C1 * 4C1 / 15C3
=(6*5*4/15*14*13)*3*2
