OK, so after 35+ years I now know the ORIGINAL singers of this freaking amazing song! This song was on the 1986 Transformers Soundtrack, an absolute NERD classic, and this song, among many others, make that album rock! Now I don't know if King Cobra actually sang the song and changed their name to Spectre General , but it sounds darn close. This song kicks ass.!!!
Spectre General was Canadian rockers Kick Axe.

This was one of my first metal albums. My girlfriend at the time turned me onto them...and there was no going back! BTW, good for Marcie!

Start to know this band, after watching nightmare on elm street 2 movie, see a poster of one of freddy victim's room
It was very rare to see any of their videos on MTV and I watched a lot! Watching this video, I have never seen it until now and I watched Headbangers Ball religiously. There was a reason, they were just only very average. Capable musicians, just not strong enough songs.
They tried hard. I'll give them that.

I hated Mick's big fake blond hair at this point in King Kobra. It just didn't look natural to me. I believe he dumped the blonde look shortly after this video thankfully. King Kobra seemed like a cursed band to me. So close to making it big. Then Johnny Rod leaves to join WASP. A little later, the new singer and bass player (Marq Torin and Lonnie Vincent) leave the band with Mick Sweda to form Bulletboys. I enjoyed the first King Kobra album though. It was pretty solid.
