The Altima is a sharp looking car, but once you see the space in the Sonata plus all the tech, you may have a more difficult choice.

Hi Miguel. Do you have a video review of the 2021 Hyundai Sonata SEL Hybrid? Also, how does the battery recharge in the Hybrid? I see it as a separate vehicle from the plug-in Hybrid, so how does the Hybrid part of it differ? very curious.
I am in the process of recording a Sonata Hybrid video, but its not the SEL. Only reason we just have the one so far. Also, the standard hybrid recharges its batteries by regenerative braking. The plug in, as the name implies is able to be charged by plugging them in as well as the regeneration by braking.

Yes, there is a way to turn that off. You may have to dive deep into the settings but it's possible.

Doesn’t the 2021 Sonota SEL w/ convenience package have the panoramic sunroof?? I see it listed on window stickers but wasn’t in the one you showed.
In 2021 the sunroof was an option even if you got the convenience package. In 2022, they included the roof in the convenience package
I have the 2018 Sonata and my lease is up in a few months. I wanted to move away from Hyundai and get onto another brand but you seriously sold this car to me! Also LOVE your personality and energy! If I lived around you I'd for sure buy from you!

They edited a few of the trim levels, but generally speaking there's no obvious difference between the 2020 and 2021 aside from the new Wheels on the SEL Plus

Yep comes with apple CarPlay and android auto. It’s wired as well.

Depends because if you're talking about a preowned car. I would go for the one with the lowest miles and best price

Can you add a sunroof with the SEL convenience package, the plus I luv the only thing is that it comes with the 1.6L turbo and I really prefer the 2.5l

You give a fantastic presentation and your speaking skills are top notch! Perhaps the best I've seen on youtube. I Just traded my 2019 Kia Optima SXL turbo for 2023 Sonata Limited. Both are great cars. Hyundai has taken out the rear heated seats which were previously included but still packs in lots of technology at competitive price. I miss the physical buttons for selecting menus and the larger screen is nice but requires more eye/hand movement than smaller screens imo. I might have stayed with the much faster Kia but they currently offer no sedans with the amount of features in my 2019 Optima so am happy with the Hyundai.

We were parked in a space ? We came back to the car and started it , pushed the button and put the car into drive , as I turned to drive out of the space , a loud crash sound came from the car . I stopped and checked to see what I hit , there was nothing , do you what the sound was

No. The SEL Plus only has one interior the factory offers. You could buy one tho and get someone to do the interior for you.
We can't upgrade to the bose audio on the sel for 2021 anymore?
SEL Plus with Technology package has Bose.

I didn't buy a sonata, but I jut did get the 21 elantra SEL with the convenience package. I have to say, I was blown away by the amount of features for the price it is.

Ive owned Hyundai cars since 2013 and never had issues with the paint.
But a guy at work has a 2013 Kia Optima and it does have a spot on the hood that has peeled. Mine is normally in the garage where as his sits outside all the time

Yes. The initial batch of 2021s didn't, but most of the Sonatas now you'll find have wireless carplay as long as you don't have factory Nav. Plus the SELs with the convenience package and above will have wireless phone charging

@@MiguelMyCarGuy Gettel didn't have the SEL plus on the lot, so I test drove the SEL nice drive, I walked out on him, I told him what I'd pay monthly for a 36 month, 10,000 lease for a plus, he couldn't get me there for a SEL ?

In person it doesn't flicker. Its a function of the camera settings that make it look like it flickers.

Great video! I love that car! I have a limited and I can’t figure out the weirdest/coolest thing… How do the lights flicker like that? Like how does that happen, because I’ve been trying to get my lights to do that and I can’t figure out what makes them flicker lol.
The camera's frame rate makes the LEDs look like they flicker

For weeks I’ve been trying to make them flicker, but I just never knew how that happened… Now I know! Thanks!

If its just u and maybe 1 other person frequently, Elantra. If its for a family car you would probably feel a bit better in the Sonata.
@@MiguelMyCarGuy Thank you for responding! I love the Sonata but I hate how the Drive Park Reverse buttons look. I would want the classic gear shifter. When you showed the little extra clip with Elantra limited with the ambient lighting I was like “Say no more I want THAT ONE” lol.

I’m about a week away from buying a 2021 Camry LE but this video came up and now I’m seriously considering an SLE sonata. They cost about the same and the sonata has much more perks than the Camry
Chek out the Camry 1st, Sonata 2nd and then decide after seeing the strengths of both
I said that my next vehicle will be a S.U.V. hands down. The Sonata is a vehicle that I saw and said I like that. But really never gave it any thought. After watching this video. The Sonata got my head spinning.

In my country the sonata include a dvr if you add more money but they don't give any info about that dvr, do you know about it?
