    My grandfather was a blacksmith in the middle of the Dust Bowl region of New Mexico, USA during the Great Depression. He believed, and passed on to my dad, that you measured a man’s wealth by the size of his “junk” pile and his ability to make the tools needed to work that junk pile out of pieces from that junk pile. He passed his qualifications when the shipyard manager gave him a hammer and anvil, forge, coke and a steel pile. If he could make his own tools, he passed. Grandad passed.

      Well I do have a big junk pile. Known now days as a Future Projects Resource Centre. And I make all sorts of things with the junk including tools. I don't think I am extremely wealthy as my junk pile is only of moderate size however now you have straitened me out I will bring home more so called junk. John

    I didn't catch why you need vinegar and molasses ? If you need get rid of rust, just go with water and baking soda and put CAR battery charger PLUS on the object and Negative on the water IN PLASTIC container, is like electric erosion or something, but IT work 10000% Be well my friend John.
    AND yes I need a time to check all those NEW videos, what you publish, WITH GREAT HONOR !!!

    You use this fencing connectors. Davos Fencing Clip - The End of Fencing Staples? Can not find a link. Only on Facebook. But are located in Victoria.

    • @farminglifeaustralia6716
      @farminglifeaustralia6716  3 роки тому

      No we don't ever use staples or that fencing clip. I think I know the one you mean I have seen them. I don't think they are a bad idea. Staples are hard to use with Australian hardwood probably used in sheep country before steel posts. From memory those fencing clips are a wire thing with a screw would be pretty simple to make a bender to make them. John

      I planted a tree when I first came here and it grew about 1 foot in 17 years it is only about 15 foot from where I put the char and manure from the yards which I started doing about 3 years ago. In those 3 years it has grown huge. I don't know if its coincidence but its doing really well. John

    this looks like a lot of hard work. my biochar (to me its charcoal from the open fire in a house in a big smoke) crusher will be a 2 cu' cement mixer with steel balls in it. i probably wont be making as much product as you. have you considered a bigger cement mixer?

    • @farminglifeaustralia6716
      @farminglifeaustralia6716  3 роки тому +1

      I have thought a lot on that and I am thinking its own engine might be the go. When I crush the char I thought I might crush it into those shuttles cut off and getting the the crusher high enough has to be thought about. initially I thought about making it on a 3 point linkage and driving it with the tractor. I have a loading ramp and I could put the crusher on the high part and the shuttle on the low part that would solve the problem. John
