I enjoyed particularly the contrast between the slow and epic melody and the fast-paced, mission impossible style drums. It's like they were meant to show the two aspects of his personality, the dangerous rogue and loving brother.

As much as Molly broke my heart in Campaign 2, Vax's end has always hit far *far* harder for me. Something about the inevitability of it just crushed my soul.
Scanlan's sacrifice also makes it hit all the harder, and I think that's what tipped it over the edge, at least for me. He could've saved Vax, but would've had to let the world fall to Vecna in the process. So no matter how hard it was, he made the impossible choice and gave up his friend to do the right thing.
Brother to Vex, lover to Keyleth, Champion of the Raven Queen, revenant, and a dashingly handsome rogue and assassin to boot. Vax has truly come a very long way from his humble beginnings. He will be missed when he's gone, but his deeds and his memory will live on. Those he has touched will remember him, those he has saved will honor him, but those that were his family, blood related and not alike, will keep his memory alive for as long as they draw breath. As always, keep up the amazing work Aiden. :D
Spoilers! This fits the character even more, now that he's died and has been made into a revenant. The beginning is his true death, while the rest of it is his revival, and the hunt to both end Vecna's ascent to godhood as well as prevent his family from meeting the same fate as him
Hooooboy. This piece is amazing. At the start you feel this caring, soft side of Vax, the love for his sister and his family then you captured the feeling of him just slinking into shadows hidden. And when you get used to the suspenseful quiet beat, he appears as sudden as he disappears for an enigmatic and powerful strike then slinks in the shadows once again.
So Vax has one of my favourite themes (who am I kidding tho, it's so hard to decide), because MAN I hear so much resemblance to the Vox Machina theme and it resembles his live for the whole group and this character has such a big heart and all of that I hear in this piece. Amazing
Coming here in 2019 just imagining them using this as Vaxs theme in their upcoming animated show. I imagine this for all of Vax's epic moments that we will finally get to see fully animated. I also get teary and emotional thinking of a sad, piano version of this song for when vax inevitably is claimed by the raven queen forever

Or really just F yourself over, run Shulte behind Vax's farewell clip. Yeah, I am so far behind because I don't feel a rush to stick with it, but it seems like a campaign turner.
