Randomly stumbled upon this channel, and honestly, I have no idea that Black Mirror has its own book. Seems very cool. I wish I could collect something like that. I'm mostly a book hoarder, so that explains it.

We're already at the level of technology with some of these episodes. I forgot what episode it was or what it was called but the one where there was a kid and some other people who were being black mailed into doing illegal things and stuff because of their browser history or friend group. Something similar happened to a friend of mine where they got blackmailed into sending the person money or they would publish their nude photos (was photoshopped but still scary to think they can get easy access to people's accounts) to their friends and family. My friend was pretty traumatized by it and I told them about the black mirror episode and it was basically verbatim. Luckily we found out it was just a scam. Still scary how this has become a reality and how much power hackers can have.
Yes I remember that one. It’s pretty scary how close we already are to so many of the scenarios! I think that’s why it pulls you in so much, you can’t look away. Oh wow that’s awful, hackers are really sophisticated these days, it’s worrying!
That episode is so good. It’s sunny and freighting and it makes you think about just what is going on right now. A big part of this particular story is how the British royal family hold a lot of power. Even to the extent that the Prime minister has to f#€k a pig live in order to get the royal princess released from her hostage taker. And then the other great thing this episode touches on is how we are as humans behave like pack animals. Everyone at the bar watching the grotesque live show. Not being able to look away.
