My friend in India Army calls Gypsy a "Mountain Goat"...still unmatchable because of weight and engine dynamics. Safari can't go at several places where this king can glide, like sand dunes of Jaisalmer to steep and narrow uphills of Leh and NE India etc. Good job Anshuman Brother! Safari is for officer ferrying on roads, Gypsy is the true workhorse. Safari Storme was never bought as Gypsy replacements, they had initial doubts, but now its used where Ambassadors were used earlier.
Slap some diff locks on the gypsy.. Raise it as well and way you go.. The gypsy aka samurai aka jimny is a good little offroader worldwide that would make expensive suv and off-road car owners blush 😊😊😊
l had a lwb 413 a few years ago that had front and rear ARB lockers, 2" suspension lift, heavy duty driveshafts, heavy duty clutch, 6.5 to 1 low range, power steering and the original petrol engine, very very capable offroad, better than a lot of Land Rovers!!
