@@bothpj9593 thnx man I appreciate your help problem is I don't even know how to do math in that section, I don't even know trigonometry and pre calculus and btw I'm rly rly bad at math, I just want tips on how to LEARN and understand math/programming olympiad maths, like when I see those math olympiad junior grade 8 questions, I don't even know what to do...i wanna know what is the first step/approach to learn those topics like number theory and blah.
@@reversicle212 if you really want to do best in programming at this grade then you have to work hard for real. Try to learn maths of your academic first as fast as you can for this you can take help from youtube it is really a good source for learning you will find all your answers on youtube. Mathematics in programming is sane as the mathematics in your academics. so try to focus on your maths problem solving and then you can practice those by implementing them on programming platforms like hackerrank or hackereath. You can see the solution if you stick in any prblm for the guidance and try to understand the code or tutorials.
This is great that you are starting programming from the very small standard. I started programming in graduation 😂.

I am new to competitive programming and I'm very comfortable in coding with python but I saw a lot of coders are using c++ for competitive programming. Should I also shift to c++ or should I keep coding in python?

I think it depends on what you need to do later
keep in mind that python is very slow and mostly you will exceed time limit
You can continue in Python, comfortably till a certain level which is near expert or low candidate master(I would say). After that lots of the problems become a bit tight for python. Also, fun fact, conquer of tourist is a grandmaster who uses python.

everytime i try to watch this itgived me motivation to learn programming but im just too lazy and dont know where to start lol
Go with any easy like Python and once you learn the basics you will yourself know what to do next
Dont be intimidated by this, this is nothing you will find during your programming journey, unless you choose to learn the algorithms. You will be fine by using simple arithmetic in 99% of the cases. What the video shows is competitive programming, you need to know the basics of algorithms like binary search, graph theory, etc. (Some jobs require you to know algorithms just for the interview, but you will not use them in the job)

Chaoso Definitely make a project. Your knowledge will expand exponentially doing your first project all the way from scratch to the final deployment. If you do only what they teach you in school you will only be another programmer, what matters is what you do in your house in your own time. So decide what you want to build, it doesn’t need to be innovative or super creative, and just build it.
@@jarentubal6334 i would say learn data structures and algorithms and become an expert in at least one of those languages, personally i would do Python but whatever works for you.
