Thanks for featuring my dice tower! It looks like the spring needs to be pushed a tad more forward though in order to get the full articulation. Too bad with the misprint, I would have thought the printer would correct the bed shift. And of course nice collection of models :)
Thanks for the tip and the awesome model! My ooze/prime tower detached and slid under the print bed jamming the wheels, I’m surprised it didn’t fail in a more spectacular way 😅 awesome model and thankyou again!
Nice qualty on those prints i have to say. At the moment i am using Bambu Labs but will prolly sell it due to latest strange policy changes and wierd "updates", will for sure check elegoo out now :) ty for a nice video
Your prints are so dialed in. I watch all your vids and did your calibration tutorial from one of your vids. I've noticed now on the newest firmware for the pro that there wasn't a couple things i could choose from the menu on the screen that you had on yours. I guess what I'm trying to say is there anyway you could do an updated 2025, newest firmware, updated calibration tutorial? There's just a couple things i couldn't understand and I've almost got my 4 Pro running pretty good. Thanks for another great vid! Edit- Btw, If it wasn't for you, my son and I would of never got all this stuff figured out. Thank you for that.
Hey! Thanks for the support! I would say go read the klipper homepage, they have so so much info there that I couldn’t squeeze into my tubing videos and they lay it out really well. Input shaping and pid tuning are probably what you’re looking for and they can be done through the web interface on your machine! Hope that helps
Reminds me of how some people around me load the dishwasher... I don't get why some psychopaths put steak knives/chefs knives with the point end up in the dishwasher....
I like that you show the mis-print, keeping it real for us. 😋Slipped bed belt perhaps? I'm curious is your tower you print in the corner just to prevent stringing off main model your for the time lapse?
why did the orange bucket print a purge tower when it was printing all in one colour? edit: i noticed everything had a purge tower. are you using it to trigger your time lapse photos?
This was caused by my purge tower breaking free, falling under the bed and jamming the wheels underneath. Check that your bed belt is tight enough, a loose belt can often cause shifts like this. If it is tight, look into your y axis acceleration!
@WildRoseBuilds I literally came home to a layer shift after making this comment! New Neptune 4, still printing with the build plate half off and a lot of mess. No time lapse to check the cause unfortunately. Fresh print has gone beyond the failure height so can rule out dodgy g code. I guess I'll never know!
"From budget *shows a 339 USD printer* To high end *shows a 399 USD printer* And everything inbetween." There's not much room inbetween those prices xD
What camera/software setup are you using for these timelapse videos? I have a c920 set up with an octoprint, but I imagine you're using something a bit more hands on?
I used the c920 for many years. There are a few Linux commands to lock exposure and focus and if you disassemble the c920 you can manually adjust focus for closer objects. I’m currently using a dslr with gphoto2 😉
So cool to see my steam engine out in the wild! Thanks for printing it and sharing this, great job! You can’t imagine how much this means to me!!
Thanks for the awesome model! I had tons of fun getting it going 🙂

hey its @rosserobertolli !
i quite literally a bout 2 hours ago printed the tower on my A1 Mini and gave it a bost on maker world

Seems there are some good open source options for core xy printers coming out these days. I’d keep my eyes open for the elegoo centauri carbon 👀

THE EXACTO KNIVES! CAREFUL MAN! Also that bucket is missing that little spinny cylinder on the handle
Yep, those points need to point down atleast.
I like to live dangerously 😉

Bingo! It helps catch the oozing from the timelapse dwell! The fail was from the tower detaching and sliding under the bed jamming the wheels 😭

@WildRoseBuilds ok that purge tower confused me too.
Fantastic impressions. I'm looking for the file of the thinker figurine in the background.
What caused the layer shift and how did you rectify the issue? My old printer did a layer shift often - annoying.

“Unbeatable prices” 😅

Why print a tower when using only one colour filament?
i see alot of prints with the tower in the corner, what is that for?
I want to print that dice tower but my printer says 2 days print time 😢
Be careful with the soap holder... it will get dirty and you can't properly clean between the layers of FDM prints :)
Top 10 unuseful things((
Functional printing doesn’t make for very good timelapses…
