  • I ran the 1982 Porsche 911SC at Summit Point Raceway's Friday at the Track (FATT) day. I refer to it as break your car at the track day. FATT is where ordinary people can take there street cars to a road racing track and flog the crap out of them. It's an opportunity to drive your car all out! The other thing it does is to find the weakest link in your car. For me, it was the brakes. During the sessions, I could feel the brakes fading occassionally. By the end of the sessions, they were just about gone. After getting the car back to the shop (on the trailer), we diagnosed the problem as a worn out master cylinder. So, we decided to shoot a video of the replacement. The video is about 30 minutes long, but it took much longer for us because of setting up the shots. I estimate this could be done 2 hours or less if performed without delays.
