Thanks for the kind words, NOUF! You've really made my day! I have some tutorials I want to put together, but I'm struggling to find the time right now - hopefullly I'll be able to show you something new soon! :) Thanks so much for watching!
Hello I also use Callipeg and I find this really useful.
Brilliant, glad I could help out! 😃🐭
@@thedorkwood question: is it possible to loop the scrolling background with the looping tool?
No way another UA-camr who actually uses Callipeg hello we are small but we will unite
Callipeg is amazing! Thanks for stopping by my channel! 🐭
This is exactly what i was looking for, thanks a lot!
Awesome, glad I could help out! :)
LIKE!…just because of the mouse alone. Lol. No, but really good video. Thanks for posting. Would love to see a similar video for ToonSquid.
Thanks, glad you liked the tutorial! 😁 I've juuuust started using ToonSquid a few days ago, and it's pretty awesome! Once I get my head around it, I will start posting some 'how to's" (with the mouse, of course!) 😃
Yes, it’s an amazing piece of software. I think the mouse will like too lol. I can’t wait! 🎉
I have been using Procreate for my animations for a while now, but I was starting to feel really limited, and I just now understand how it's really not made for animation in the first place! Definitely switching to Callipeg! Your video was so useful! I hope to see more tutorials so I can learn as everything is so difficult at the moment hahaha! Amazing job thank you!
Hi Theo, glad you found the tutorial helpful! I used to animate with Procreate too, but I also found it quite limited (and at times, incredibly frustrating). Callipeg just keeps getting better and better! Thanks so much for your kind words, and keep an eye for the next tutorial :)
@@thedorkwood questo commento mi toglie ogni dubbio ..... inizio ad utilizzare Callipeg ;-)

I'm stoked you found my lil tutorial helpful! If you ever use this technique in an animation, give me a shout, I would love to see it! 😁🐭
Great work! Definitely going to try this app out, really thinking of buying it.
Thanks! 🙂 The app is definitely worth it - the devs keep updating it on a regular basis, and it just keeps getting better and better! 🐭😁

Just subscribed! I see your channel growing. Great tutorial. I like your humour. Please keep it up!
Wow, thank you, I really appreciate it! I'm busy working on the next tutorial as we speak. It's slow going, but comments like this really inspire me to keep at it! 😄
This video helped me, thanks. Can you do a tutorial how do you do the shaking effect on the train like bumpy? It would be much appreciated!
Hi, I'm glad you liked the tutorial! I'm busy putting together a rigging guide for Callipeg, but I can definitely do a quick tutorial on the shake/bump effect. Keep an eye out for it! 😁🐭
@@thedorkwood thanks! I’ll keep an eye out for that. You earned a sub :)
@@benhuxley Thank you kindly! 🐭🤩
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you kindly! 😁🐭
I'll be watching & rewatching this. I get to a certain point & it doesn't work for me. Hopefully you will make more tutorials for slow learners like me. :)
Aaaah, I hope it all falls into place on the next viewing 😅 If there is anything in particular that doesn't make sense, give me a shout, and I will try and clear it up for you 😁 Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate the feedback! 🐭😊
I'm making an animation in clip studio that lasts 20 seconds and has approximately 400 shadow and painted drawings, this weighs about 240 mb, is it possible to do something of that size in callipeg?
Hi! I created an animation some time ago (ua-cam.com/video/YC8THOxvoHk/v-deo.html) that uses 100+ layers (1080 x 1080), is over 1 minute in length, and is around 3gb in size, all created in Callipeg 😀 Of course, this all depends on how much RAM your iPad has - I have the 2nd-gen iPad, and it handles Callipeg really well. The more RAM you have, the more layers you can use. Callipeg really is amazing 😁
wow that's amazing and lasts a minute, it's a loooong timeline@@thedorkwood
Do you HAVE to do it 720 x 720?
Not at all! 720 was just an easy number to work with. Whatever your canvas/screen size, you just need to scroll the mountain by that same amount (explained at around 2:20 in the video). So, if your canvas is 2000px wide, you need to scroll the mountain horizontally out of the scene by 2000px. 😃 Hope that makes sense! 🐭😁
It’s jittery, how do you smooth it?
Hi, if you increase the frames-per-second (to around 60fps or above) and extend the amount of animated frames (i.e. drag the frame to extend it), it will smooth out the overall animation. The higher the frame-rate plus more frames will always equal a much smoother experience 😁Hope this helps!
Too many sound effects dude,,,, very confusing… a shame
Hi, thanks for the feedback! Absolutely fair comment, I'm still getting used to what works and what doesn't here on UA-cam - hopefully I'll get the balance right for the next video. Cheers! 🐭
@@thedorkwood sorry if it was too harsh a comment! I appologize 🙏🏽 I also want to add that it was VERY useful and i liked the result!
@@gottafindacoolname No need to apologize, I really appreciate the feedback! 😊 Glad the tutorial was helpful! 🐭😁
@@thedorkwood still! I need to learn to be polite. Honesty can come in many forms and my initial comment was rude. But maybe I gave you an opportunity to be awesomely cool 🤗♥️🙏🏽⭐️
