Hello from Texas. I have a question. Why do these brides cry so much? It is not like they are dying. They are just getting married. It should be a very happy joyful occasion.
Yes, but in our culture we cry so much because of the idea that ´´ you leave the house of your parents´´. Afcource you go to them when you are married, but the fact that you don't live in the same house anymore is so sad and that makes us cry. And as you can see the situation is very emotional, everyone gives you hugs and kisses, which emphasizes that you are really leaving home. Hopefully, this is an answer to your question
Hi, this has actually more to do with the culture than feeling like dying. When two people get married, it is seen as the girl leaving her own home for her husband and his family. She basically becomes more a part of his family than her own and the parting is when she leaves the house to go to the wedding. Leaving your mom, dad and sibling's place where you grew up to start a new chapter in your life. So obviously, this becomes a very emotional moment. But in fact there is not much difference after they get married since they can visit their home as much as they want.
