Imagine there would be a random chance that a normal moon can become eclipsed for a period of time and you hear this OST inside of the facility

@@dfquartzidn6151 The tier-1 moons are all orbiting around a gas giant (Big Grin), which itself orbits a red dwarf, so the moons should orbit the gas giant pretty frequently, and the tier-3 moons all orbit a white dwarf, which is irregular to have any remaining terrestrials around a stellar remnant, but due to the star's minuscule size, the moons (really planets) would be eclipsed by other planets orbiting the star.

or when you land and 2 seconds later an eyeless dog is already inside the ship so you never tell your friends a thing until you are inside the facility

For these moons, you really don’t see many planets that they should be orbiting, just the star
And if you scan the terminal, it says planets, so I'm convinced they're really planets.
@@zucchinilover449 some of these are moons. when youre in orbit around the moon you can see both the planet and the moon from the monitor. also some of them are real named moons from our solar system.
What do you think is eclipsing the star?
@@bread6235they’re not actual moons from our solar system none of the features line up, i think its more compelling that they were named after moons from the solar system. like Titan for example shouldn’t be survivable on the surface even with breathing stuff (way too fucken cold) and the liquid on the surface should be methane not water
@@AzureProwerthis is tricky cause from the view of the moon you’d usually expect the planet to appear larger than the star but it could be possible if the moon were quite far away from its planet. personally i think it’d be really cool if the planets were added to the skyboxes, maybe some huge ringed planet in the sky of one of them, would be sick

I couldn’t go see the area of the total eclipse, but it was perfect enough to darken my area which was further away, much to my surprise.

Mine was really wanting to see what it looked like in game and excitingly picking the moon, after staring at the sun thats when I noticed the song playing and it felt like something far more horrible than I've seen was watching me daring me to leave the safety of my ship. Oh I left alright... left the moon!
My first one was on titan with friends, my friends being more experienced yelled to “get down” as they ran up the stairs, I was at the beginning of the stairs and didn’t understand what they were talking about so I crouched in the corner being partially confused, then a dog ran up and mauled me to death
I don't think I even noticed it was Eclipsed on my first eclipsed moon, but looking back on it, it most definitely was 'cause there was like 2-3 dogs on experimentation and also a worm.
First time I went to an eclipsed moon I got the Warning notification but didn't notice anything different. Was a pretty normal run for some reason
my first eclipsed moon was vow and one of my friends just got chomped by the forest giant right away while the rest were jamming to the boombox unaware of what's happening outside of the ship xdd

oh what the heck this needs to be louder ingame because this is actually so cool
I absolutely love the use of music in this game. The only uses of actual full sounds outdoors are these almost peaceful, minecraft like sounding ambience pieces that play in the background. They usually play at the start of rounds for me so it makes it feel a lot more calming then it should. But then there's this..the only soundtrack that plays fully outside constantly, and it's for the eclipsed planet. It really makes you constantly on edge and just full of dread the entire time. By far for me the scariest part of this game is being on either Dine or Rend and slowly trying to make my way back to the ship by following the lights, being able to see nothing around you and just hearing the creatures in the fog. And on an eclipsed planet, this music adds to it so much.
The tension this track brings is actually insane. I still tense up when I hear it because usually it's accompanied with 5 dogs circling the ship instantly or a giant just chilling outside. And of course my team attempting to run as fast as humanly possible with said threats chasing us
it's a lot safer in the facility

my friends wanted to show me an eclipse moon since i am kind of a beginner and now they consider me a good luck charm because i managed to steal some bottles from 3 hoarding bugs and outrun them, then near the ship there were 2 eyeless dogs and 2 baboon hawks (both of which were near each other which is just annoying), bees and a sandworm

It's all fun and games until you walk back from the facility, only to hear big footsteps start to rapidly approach your location.
I would love it if the weather could randomly change and become eclipsed.
The best description that I've heard this track described as is making the wrong decision in a story game which inevitably leads to the bad ending
It’s missing the sounds of eyeless dogs brutally mauling anyone inside the ship and forest giants catching the stragglers outside the ship that managed to escape
Brutal compay + lethal escape + eclipse + rend = the true horror experience

i love the eery vibe of the game. It's so good at giving you the sense that you shouldn't be there. from the music to the environment to the feel of the outside, just beautiful (and spooky)

Next thing you know it Literal Titans are swarming the Ship, Eyeless Dogs left and right, Someone's at the railing against thumpers and spiders, Someone's having a staredown with like 3 Coil Heads, The Bracken Starts Stalking, Some NutCracker almost shot you dead, Yippie Bugs have swarmed most of the loot at their area (And won't share w/out a fight), Someone Accidentally Put On The Mask, The Earth Wachamacallit (The Worm) gulps down atleast half the team, The Lil Girl starts giggling, There are alot of sentries and mines near the Main, Fire is a locked room, And even after all that, You barely made any quota... This is based on my sufferings in Titan Eclipse

You are heading back to the ship, hearing multiple dogs roaming, you hear heavy big footsteps from a giant, you get close to the ship and see all your crew there, dead.
You then hear a little girl giggling and heavily breathing on your neck. You look behind and you see her skipping at you. That's the last thing you see.

my 2 eclipse experiences:
1. rend on eclipsed, chased by a forest giant to the main enterance then got drop kicked by nutcracker in first room
2. offense on eclipse, got deserted by my friends who took fire exit and nearly eaten by a sand worm as soon as i left the ship, decided to be terminal guy
they took apparatus and promptly got clobbered in the blink of an eye
my only eclipse experience: last day before quota, we're 120 short, as soon as we land an eyeless dog roars at us so we close the door. but it's still angry and will eat us as soon as it opens
so I set up my both 2 friends, one as bait the other as explorer. explorer guy gets eaten first somehow, so literally a naked dude without flashlight ran past the 5 dogs and made his way inside
I stayed aback and monitored his progress while the eyeless dog was literally 2 steps behind me inside the ship, so I couldn't even open doors for the dude
it took him 13 in-game hours but he got enough, as I was literally playing FNAF against the dogs always being aggro'd by my loud background noises xDD
somehow the guy made his way back as I closed the door on the dog that was literally 1 step behind him, saving us both. we got enough for the quota

I took my team to an eclipse for the first time, what was a playful prank, turned into the most dreadful walk to the facility followed by a horror filled run back to the ship with giants and dogs at bay

There's this feeling that I genuinely shouldn't be on this planet.
Whenever I hear this song I just see me and my teammates, all having grabbed your shovels and flashlights and shotguns and are sitting there, waiting, silently crouching on the railing of the ship, waiting waiting waiting for it to land, frantically scanning the horizon for giants and dogs. And it just feels like we really shouldn't be here right now

the first ecplised moon i ever went to was my friends and i's first time playing. we went in completely blind and didnt even know that there were different moons to go to, so we just autopiloted to experimentation all three days. the third day it happened to be eclipsed. three dogs spawned almost immediately and we were stuck at the top of the tower trying to decide what to do next. only one of us actually made it out alive and just immediately took off lol
This feels off without dogs running around screeching like hell.
i swear i though eclipsed moons were basically gonna burn you over time but it was just hardcore verison, and i swear in eclipsed moons, your teamates are gone from worms, mauled by eyeless dogs, eaten alive by giants in just a blink of an eye
