It may seem like Trinity fell in love too quickly, but then you realize she was definitely watching Neo for quite some time before unplugging him. Imagine being in a position to watch someone in their most intimate moments when they thought they were all alone. Witnessing all the little quirks and idiosyncrasies that make them them. Things that they'd never dare share with another person, and then finding yourself finding them endearing. Then, meeting up with that person in real life, and having them measure up beyond your expectations, and even saving your life in the process. I'd imagine falling head over heals would be pretty darned easy at that point. Oh, and it probably didn't hurt that Neo looks just like Keanu Reeves either. js

I think a big reason why this movie was such a cultural phenomenon is because most movies now have trailers that give you a rough idea of what the movies is going to be about, there was zero context clues about the Matrix and its casual to talk about these topics now but in 1999 it was really on the fringe of social norms and beliefs.

While theyre inside the matrix they dont get tired because thats just a program of their body. They dont actually need oxygen becasue theyre breathing in the real world. Thats what Morpheus meant when he asked Neo “Do you think thats air youre breathing?”

My roommate did go see it, and tried explaining the plot to me, be he did a TERRIBLE job, so I didn't see the movie for a long time, LOL
