Hi Mohammed, is that the Mosque down Gibbet Street?. Is that old graveyard still there next door? I tried looking on line for other old places in that area, I used to live on Parliament Street as a youngster but that was all demolished but can't find a single picture of the street. 1968 we moved to Victoria Terrace Hopwood Lane. Gibbet Street used to be a bustling place, all the shops of every kind, post office, fish mongers grocers green grocers butchers Polish shop, there was also as I recall a small mini market owned by a Pakistani chap. My dad used to go there every evening on way from work to buy chillie peppers. My dad was from South Eastern Serbia and almost every time he had a meal he had chillies with it. Mum was English, from Leeds. Yeah, I used to love that area but much has changed since I was there all those years ago. I miss Halifax but I came to Derby to work and got married to a Yugoslav lass and ended up staying here. I still have a sister in Halifax. I'm hoping to get up there before December hopefully got lots to do here. Keep up the filming Mohammed. All the best to you and your family. 😊
Wow😀😀😀I can not believe it, we have so much in common. We came to the UK in 1968, dad came in 1963. We lived in Villiers Street, next to Parliament Street. The area was totally demolished in 1977, we moved out in 1976. We now live on Hopwood Lane close to Victoria Terrace. Yes the cemetery is very much there, I have made 3 videos about it, it is a listed site because it has so much history. The last burials were in the 1950's , the private company went bankrupt. Over time it was neglected and derelict but now a charity has cleaned it up and can be visited on certain days . They hold an open day every year and I have recorded these, there are 3 videos. I did one 3 months ago entitled " History on our doorstep" and 2 years ago entitled " The history of Lister Lane cemetery". Please try to watch these and as much you can, I am 210 hours watch time away from being monetised. You could just play them if you you dont have time to watch, another simple thing I ask people is to play my videos when charging your phone, just play one of the playlists. Also please send a link of my channel to all you know on facebook and whats app. Yes I remember the mini market and shop, it was indeed a bustling area. Anyway I think is becoming far too long, I thank you for watching, please keep watching, stay blessed. Thank you😀😀😀😀😀

No good looks like a hindu event. The prophet warned against decorating the mosques like this. Try looking for the hadith.
