Live Nearby in Spencer everytime i cross the bridge over linwood yard i always see trains parked there crew changes or switching cars so to be fair the entire yard isnt closed but some of it is.

Not the entire yard. Local service and turn jobs will still use the yard for flat switching. The bug stuff went to Pomona yard and Charlotte yard.

Locals are still based out of Linwood. Most of the big yard work went to Pomona yard in Greensboro and NS's yard in Charlotte.
