We are back with 11th episode of Switzerland tourism video. This time we are covering Lucerne / Luzern City.
We’ll hit all of the must-see tourist spots: like the chapel bridge, lion monument, old town, and Lake Lucerne.

Chapel bridge is one of the main Tourist attraction in the Lucerne, it is right across the street from Lucerne train station so if you are passing by from Lucerne, then you can take a quick visit to Chapel bridge.
In 1920, Lion monument was constructed in the memory of swiss guards who were died during the French revolution.
Next to lion Monument, is Glacier Garden, its a geological museum and gives you glimpse of landscape of central Switzerland during last ice age.
Opening times are from 10AM to 06 PM, Entrance fee is 22 swiss franc but if you have swiss travel pass then its free.

No, there is no entry fee for it.. It's in open place ...
I just love your video for its detailed information like attraction is near train station and it really help us tourists that depend alot on train to move around. Btw is Lion Monument near Lucern train station too?
Hello, Thank you for the wonderful comment and the Lion monument is around 1-1.5 km from train station, you can either walk or take bus to go there..👍

You can buy ready to eat food/beverages/ fruits etc from any supermarket like coop or Migros. There is a coop store in the Lucerne train station as well in the sub-floor (lower ground floor) & it is open till 10 pm. Any accomodation within walking from the central station? Is it expensive to take taxi in lucerne?
No idea,we have not used taxis in Switzerland. Infact all public transport like train, buses are so good and with amazing frequency that we did not felt the need of using taxi.
There are 3 to 5 hotels with similar name of Anstatthotel . Can you share which location did you guys stayed?

I don't remember the stop name, but there is only one Anstatthotel in Horw.

Normally hotels/ airbnb will provide the visitor card.

It depends on places you are planning to visit..

Yes it was around 9pm, in peak summers sun sets at around 9:30 - 10:00 pm.. So yes in summer you get longer day light to see more places..
Did you miss curry over there?
