Really enjoyed your new video even as a caravaner of 15 year's i find it useful and interesting to watch. Can i suggest 2 tips, firstly I'd recommended, when empting the toilet cassette i always remove the sliding flap as wel as the last thing you want is to lose it down a drain and have to recover it. Just remember to pick it up and put it back in the cassette, theres a little triangle on both flap and cassette to align. Second thing, I'd recommend is to get a proper Alko jack bracket fitted. Think its 2 bolts on each side of the van. Hopefully never needed but if it is, a lot safer than just jacking up the chassis. Enjoy and look forward to seeing your new adventures.
Thanks for the helpful tips. We've taken the brave (possibly foolish) step of removing the spare wheel from the van. The guy who did our handover said many are doing this now instead of towing the weight of the wheel they are deciding to rely on tyre weld ( the foam stuff) in the event of a puncture. What are your thoughts on that?
@@LivandTrekGoTravelling whilst we all hope we never have a puncture or blowout personally I'd rather have a spare wheel with me. But it is personal preference of course. Foam is only good for a slow puncture, let's say you had a blowout which shredded the tyre or you hit a kurb at low speed which tore open the tyre, the foam would be useless and you'd be looking to remove the wheel and go find a replacement. I'd rather know I had a spare on board, but that is just my preference.
