Blodmoon (Québec) - S'il Existe Ton Paradis - 2024 EP

The debut EP of this Québécoise act from the Scarlet Kross collective.
This offering marks the longest recording yet from this project, venturing beyond the previously showcased singles.
The EP establishes a foundation of black metal songwriting, but Blodmoon does not stop there. Layers of ambient synth textures are woven throughout, particularly prominent in the first three tracks. These passages create an atmospheric backdrop, adding depth and a touch of unease to the music.
The latter half of the record explores a different soundscape. Blodmoon transitions into a more languid and sorrowful direction, merging black metal with doom influences. These extended compositions showcase a previously unseen facet of the project, offering a freshly well-rounded and engaging listening experience
